DialogueEdit

  • Greeting:
"Well if you need some chores, you've come to the right place."
  • Background:
"I, %Name, serve Lord Vaerin as his Mouth. I ensure the Parliament offers no compromise to the Temple."
  • chores
"There is a meddling Temple fool in Port Telvannis, and Master Vaerin wants to see him leave town."
"Master Vaerin would like you to take further action against the meddling Tribunal Temple. He wants a shipment of Temple propaganda disposed of so that it does not taint the minds of our easily swayed commoners."
"Despite your recent failure, I feel like giving you something else to do. Master Vaerin needs a shipment of Temple propaganda disposed of."
"If you are looking for more formal chores, you should speak to the other mouths here in the Council Chambers, or perhaps even approach Lord Vaerin."

If Disposition is 60 or higher:

"I have no other chores for you to do, but feel free to devise your own ways to thwart the Temple propagandists. It is the duty of all Telvanni that we act on such matters. If you are looking for more formal chores, you should speak to the other mouths here in the Council Chambers, or perhaps even approach Lord Vaerin. If you do speak with the other mouths beware of Areth Morvayn and Fervas Shulisa, they serve the foul vipers, Rathra and Eldale."

If you are Master rank or higher:

"No, %PCRank. One of your status should not perform chores for your subjects. That is what Retainers are for."
  • Council:
"I sit on the council, and represent my lord Master Vaerin in official matters."
  • Master Vaerin:
"I represent him here on the Council. His tower is Tel Vaerin in Alt Bosara, to the southwest of here."
  • Telvanni Mouths:
"I am the Mouth of Master Vaerin of Tel Vaerin. The other Mouths are Malvas Relvani, who speaks for Archmagister Rilvin Dral, Areth Morvayn for Mistress Rathra, Fervas Shulisa for Mistress Eldale, Nethan Marys for Mistress Faruna, and Nevrile Omayn for Master Mithras."

House Telvanni: Books of FaithEdit

  • Greeting:
"Your current chores include intercepting a shipment of Temple propaganda for Master Vaerin. How goes your work?
  • chores:
"If I recall, you were to take care of a shipment of Temple propaganda for Master Vaerin. See that it is done."
  • shipment of Temple propaganda:
"Yes, the meddlesome Temple is planning to ship books and other propaganda to poison the minds of Telvanni in the city of Tel Ouada. Mistress Rathra has turned a blind eye to such shipments, and thus Master Vaerin requires that you travel to Tel Ouada and convince Dunveri Rodran, who will be carrying the shipment, to dispose of the propaganda rather than deliver it. You will be reimbursed for expenses within reason."
"Have you managed to convince Dunveri Rodran to destroy the shipment?"
  • No, not yet.: "Haven't I told you before, that when Master Vaerin gives you a task, you need to snap to it? Well if not, then now you know." Goodbye
  • Yes. I've done so, but it cost me 750 Septims.: "That's fine, I'll reimburse you for that sum and toss in an extra 50 pieces of gold for acting as Master Vaerin's agent. I don't really have any further chores for you now. Is there anything else?" (Disposition up by 5, and you receive 800 gold)
"We have concluded the discussion of that task, %PCName. We need not revisit it now."

House Telvanni: Fools that MeddleEdit

  • Greeting:
"Well, have you gotten the Temple fool to leave town yet?"
  • chores:
"Get Sevroth Teles to leave town, %PCRank. Then we can discuss your other chores."
  • leave town:
"As I told you, Master Vaerin has learned that the priest, Sevroth Teles, is spreading Temple propaganda here in Port Telvannis. I need you to go and convince him to leave town. Oh, and one warning."
  • What is that?: "While I would love to give you freedom to silence him by force, not all the Masters are quite as... pragmatic... in Temple related matters as Lord Vaerin. For this reason, for him to be killed, with witnesses, would spark quite the diplomatic incident. However, if you can do so without being noticed, feel free to murder him if he is belligerent in any way. In a way, I suppose that would be granting him his fondest wish, to be martyred. I've always liked that word. Now go."
"Has Sevroth Teles left town or died mysteriously?"
  • Not yet.: "When Master Vaerin gives you chores, even when they are given through his Mouth, you are advised to do them quickly. Lord Vaerin is not known for his infinite patience. Go." Goodbye
  • Yes, he has left town.: "Hmm, I'm glad you've driven Sevroth Teles out of town, though I would have preferred that you had murdered him. All the same, I suppose a reward is in order. Here, try this on for size. Suitably blasphemous, don't you think? Let me know when you wish to do more chores." (You receive a Bone Guard Belt)
  • I killed him, but the action was seen as just, if it was seen at all.: "Excellent, I hope Sevroth Teles enjoyed being martyred for the Temple; I know it is something the foolish faithful aspire to. You certainly deserve a reward for your services, seeing as you managed to slay a Temple nix-hound without raising a fuss. Try it on for size. Suitably blasphemous, don't you think? Let me know if you need more chores." (Disposition up by 5, and you receive 100 gold and a Bone Guard Belt)
"There is nothing more to talk about concerning this matter."

If you got caught trying to kill Sevroth Teles:

"Yes, I've heard about your murder of Sevroth Teles. I think you should have been more discreet. Anyhow I will not reward you for creating a diplomatic incident in the midst of our very capital. Return some other time, maybe I'll grant you some more chores." Goodbye (Disposition down by 5)
  • Sevroth Teles:
"I have no idea where the priest can be found. If I did, why would I need you?"
