An Air Atronach

Air Atronachs are a type of elemental Daedra that supposedly possess the combined power of a flame, frost and storm atronach. As a result, Air Atronachs are capable of absorbing the element of a nearby slain atronach to temporary buff themselves.

They are found mostly in the eastern half of Lower Craglorn, especially around the Spellscar, often in the presence of other atronachs. They can also be found guarding certain Daedric ruins on Vvardenfell.

Flame Tornado
The air atronach winds up its swords before spinning around continuously, as indicated by a red circular AoE under itself, dealing continuous moderate flame damage. This can be interrupted to set air atronach off-balance. (Tornado changes into Flame Tornado after absorbing a flame atronach.)
Ice Vortex
The air atronach winds up its swords before spinning around in a large area around itself once, dealing moderate frost damage and an intense snare that lasts for 8 seconds. This can be interrupted to set air atronach off-balance. (Tornado changes into Ice Vortex after absorbing a frost atronach.)
Lightning Rod
The air atronach lifts its swords to canalize a lightning strike on its target, dealing continuous low shock damage. It then releases a thunderbolt on top of its target which deals moderate shock damage. This can be interrupted to set air atronach off-balance. • Killing an atronach of a different element than the air atronach's current buff will not change it. The buff stays the same from the beginning until it runs out, which takes around one minute.
