Welcome!Edit
Hello Klep! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
- Uploading Images: Guidelines on image standardization
If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! •WoahBro►talk 16:19, 9 December 2014 (GMT)
Duplicate book pagesEdit
Just out of curiosity, why are you creating duplicate TR book pages in your Userspace in addition to adding them to Tes3Mod? -- Hargrimm(T) 14:53, 16 December 2014 (GMT)
- I started going it to have a backup of the source as I wasn't sure I was correctly adding the new books and afraid they would get deleted. Of course I have figured by now this is nonsense and I am going to have to bother some of you by tagging those sandboxes for deletion. Have mercy on a noob ;) --Klep (talk) 14:58, 16 December 2014 (GMT)
Nonsense message templateEdit
Hey, Klep! I just wanted to talk to you about the message you left on this IP's talk page. I reviewed all of the edits made by that IP, and none of them were nonsensical. "Nonsense" typically refers to something that's either gibberish or totally out of place and makes no sense in the context of the article (or both). While those edits may not have been in line with the style guide, they weren't actually nonsense. That editor probably just wasn't familiar with our editing style.
You have to be careful about what you label "nonsense" to avoid offending people, especially since adding nonsense to pages is grounds for a warning and/or block, depending on how far it goes. In the future, if a user is making a series of edits like that, it's probably better to just point them to the style guide than to use the nonsense template. Thanks! - Thanks for pointing this out and my apologies for the wrongdoing. I have only been active here for about a week, so it's probably best to leave these things to more experienced editors. I guess I just got over-enthusiastic there. I will keep your advice in mind and try not to make such errors again in the future. --Klep (talk) 18:53, 16 December 2014 (GMT)

- Can you also be careful of labeling edits as vandalism? Its one of those things that is a touchy subject for some editors, so erring on the side of caution is recommended. (And don't worry, I did it too and I'm sure most people have mistakenly labeled stuff that). Have a great day and I think you will make a great editor if you stay on with us :) ~ Ad intellige (talk) 23:30, 16 December 2014 (GMT)
Tamriel Rebuilt DeletionsEdit
I just scanned our deletions list and I see you've been quite busy. I'll probably get busy on those tomorrow, but before I do, I wanted to double-check that you didn't want to keep any of those for historical reasons, like building a table of what books were in which versions, for example. If there's really no reason to ever make something like that, then I'll go ahead and delete them all. – Robin Hood (talk) 05:06, 6 January 2015 (GMT)
- Thanks for considering us in this. I have kept a list of outdated books so please feel free to delete all I have tagged for deletion. There may be a single title which may be re-added again in the future (I can't recall which though), but because this probably won't be the case and it's only one book I have tagged it for deletion anyway. I hope this isn't an issue. --Klep (talk) 10:18, 6 January 2015 (GMT)
- Not a problem. If something needs undeleted in the future, that's easy enough. Just ask any administrator. – Robin Hood (talk) 20:21, 6 January 2015 (GMT)
