Past Computing ExperiencesEdit

So far, since I bought my computer and started using Oblivion, the following things have happened:

  1. I buy and install Oblivion.
  2. After a while, I start looking for mods that I might like.
  3. I try to download one from Planet Elder Scrolls, but the download speed is really slow.
  4. I download several mods from TESNexus.
  5. I install WinRAR (Which is annoying, as after the trial expires I have to pay something like $30)
  6. I use the mods, which work quite well.
  7. I buy and install The Witcher, which, after a few hours of gameplay, crashes.
  8. I uninstall The Witcher.
  9. On booting up, my computer fails to function. I try this several times, until I get the dreaded Black Screen of Death.
  10. I then get something that I like to call the Info Box of Death. This is an info box that states: "MIcrosoft Windows cannot find these files:" And contains a list of vital files needed for booting.
  11. I send it off to a computer repair shop, who send it back a few days later, saying that The Witcher needed drivers that I didn't have, and (mysteriously) deleted a few of the ones that I did have when I uninstalled it.
  12. I try to boot my computer, and get the Info Box of Death.
  13. I send in my computer again.
  14. They return it to me, and it works!!!!!
  15. Meanwhile, I have been playing Oblivion on the other computer in my house which doesn't have internet.
  16. I install Shivering Isles on this computer, and it runs quite well.
  17. After a while, I become a vampire, and a whole load of bad things happen (see the vampirism talk page).
  18. I look at this wiki, to find out more about these vampirism bugs, and discover the Shivering Isles Reference Bug.
  19. This is very bad, as the computer I am currently playing on cannot download the patch, as it has no internet.
  20. So I start up my computer (the one I sent in twice), and:
    1. Uninstall Oblivion.
    2. Delete all my Oblivion save games.
    3. Install Oblivion again, along with the Shivering Isles.
    4. I hurriedly download the 1.2 patch, and it works!!!!!
  21. Now, at this stage, I have decided that I will never download mods for any game ever again, and am quite dissapointed, so I decide to download the construction set and make my own mods!
  22. So I make a mod that adds a nice spell tome to the shop Rindir's Staffs in the Market District, along with some nice black robes.

And that is what has happened so far. I shall update this often.

What I am Working on NowEdit

I am currently making a mod that adds a quest which gives you some nice new spells at the end. Unfortunately, I don't think I shall ever publish any of my mods, as that involves file compression, which I hate, thanks to WinRAR.

A Final NoteEdit

Also, one last thing:

THE GAME!!!
