This page lists all NPCs and creatures that are set to follow you at some point during the game. These followers will accompany you when using commercial forms of transport (boats, carriages, gondolas, guild guides, etc.) if they are close to you when you activate it, but will not accompany you if you cast Recall or an intervention spell or use a propylon chamber.
Followers come in three varieties:
- Hired Followers: followers that must be paid a specific sum of gold every thirty days, but will follow you indefinitely as long as you keep paying them.
- Creature Followers: followers that are creatures, such as beasts of burden or summoned Daedra.
- Quest Followers: followers that will follow you for free, but only during a specific quest.
