Cooking Fire
The Withered Tree is one of two inns in Riften. It is located on the central city plaza, next to the Rethan Holdings bank. The inn is a two-story Nord-style building with a tavern on the ground floor and guest rooms upstairs. A cooking fire can be found in the tavern, across from the entrance. A bard, Meluuran, plays the flute beside it. A door leading to a spacious balcony is upstairs, in the first room. There can be a safebox in the second room.
The Undaunted members Gobur One-Eye, Ferocious Jakidi and Kailstig the Axe can be encountered here. There is a cat on a bed upstairs. A dog is sitting on the balcony.
