DialogueEdit
Each time you see him, he will call out to you with one of the following lines:
- The Adoring Admirer: "I knew if I waited here long enough, I'd find you!"
- The Adoring Admirer: "The champion has arrived!"
- The Adoring Admirer: "By Azura! By Azura! By Azura! I can't believe this. Is it really you?"
First EncounterEdit
When spoken to the first time, he says:
- "It's you! It's actually you! My friends said you were a story—a myth. But here you are!
It is you, right? The hero of Tamriel! The slayer from the legends! It has to be. You look just like the paintings!" - Can I help you?
- "Can you help … me? A famed warrior is asking if I need help? This is what I always dreamed of! I, uh, don't have any dangerous things going on right now, but I'm sure I could find myself some trouble to get into if you'd want."
- I didn't say that.
- "No, no, it's all right! Listen, what would you rather fight? A pack of lions? Perhaps a vicious troll? I'm sure I could find one nearby. Oh! It should be more than one. Let's give the bards a good song.
How does a dozen trolls sound?" - That's not a good idea.
- "You're right. Trolls aren't good enough for a legendary hero! We need something bigger. More menacing. Oh! I heard about these weird cultists. The Order of the Waking Flame.
You can rescue me from the cultists! How exciting!"' - Please don't.
- "You're right. Trolls aren't good enough for a legendary hero! We need something bigger. More menacing. Oh! I heard about these weird cultists. The Order of the Waking Flame.
- Yeah … sure. You go and do that.
- "Hah! My friends are going to be so jealous. The fabled hero, come to rescue little ol' me from a vicious band of trolls. I can't wait!
Don't take too long. The anticipation will kill me!" - I'm not sure what's going to kill you, but sure.
- "Hah! My friends are going to be so jealous. The fabled hero, come to rescue little ol' me from a vicious band of trolls. I can't wait!
No matter your response, he will run off excitedly, saying:
- The Adoring Admirer: "This is going to be great! Just wait until I tell all my friends back in Bravil."
Second EncounterEdit
The second time you encounter him, you will notice that he now sports an eyepatch.
When spoken to the second time, he says:
- "Remember me? Listen, about the last time we spoke, I ran off and you promised to come rescue me.
Oh, don't worry about it! I got a little mauled, but I understand. You were busy saving the world. I get it!" - You probably shouldn't be getting into trouble like this.
- "Oh it's nothing I couldn't handle. Took a bit of running. Dodged a few claws. Got stabbed by a few swords. But that's life for adventurers!
I'm sure whatever you were doing was much more dangerous. I get it, really. But … I do have another idea." - Does it involve putting yourself in more danger?
- "Of course! I mean, how else will Tamriel know of your great deeds? You have to save someone in mortal danger or it doesn't qualify as a daring rescue.
I heard there's some really dangerous stuff in Black Marsh." - Please stop.
- "Don't worry about it. It'll be easy! A little poison or something and you can swoop in with the antidote before I get too sick!
This is going to be amazing! My friends will never believe me. You'll need to let me take a souvenir for sure."
- "Don't worry about it. It'll be easy! A little poison or something and you can swoop in with the antidote before I get too sick!
- Yes, you should definitely go to Black Marsh.
- "I won't wait! Black Marsh just has so many dangerous things. What do you think I should start with? Venomous plants? Carnivorous beasts? Oh! Maybe a hostile Argonian tribe.
This is so exciting! I'll see you soon!"

No matter your response, he will run off excitedly, saying:
- The Adoring Admirer: "To Black Marsh! Maybe I should practice my terrified screaming."
Third EncounterEdit
With the third encounter, the Adoring Admirer will be looking rather pallid.
Talk with him to see what his adventurers in Black Marsh were like:
- "Oh, hey there. I see that you forgot about me again. No worries. Black Marsh was lovely by the way. Lots of rituals, dark magic, and more than a few things I don't understand.
Oh, I think I might be immortal now, so uh, thanks for that." - What happened to you?
- "Not sure, really. Could have been that weird ritual I was part of. Or that strange liquid I drank—some sort of venom now that I think about it. Lots of friendly … people!
I did realize something on my way back here though." - And what's that?
- "I'm always asking you to come save me, but I keep forgetting to tell you where I'm going!
Before I run off to this next adventure, remind me and I'll let you know." - Maybe you can take it easy and not go anywhere.
- I'm probably not going to find you regardless.
- "Saying that makes this even more exciting! You're an intrepid hero—as if you'd let me down. So I was thinking, what's the most daring thing you could tackle? Dragons. Rumor has it there are some in Elsweyr.
This is so exciting, I could squeal!"

No matter your response, he will run off excitedly, saying:
- The Adoring Admirer: "Just you wait! Not even fire can scare off a vampire like me!"
Fourth EncounterEdit
With your fourth encounter with your greatest fan, he is now looking very spectral ... and dead.
He is still happy to see you, so talk with him:
- "Right, so turns out vampires are in fact not immune to fire. Who would have thought it?
And, I forgot to tell you which part of Elsweyr I was going to again, didn't I? I'm so forgetful—especially when I'm in front of my heroes, I get all nervous!" - You're dead.
- "As it turns out, I am. A shame really. Never did much with my life now that I think about it. But I did have some great adventures recently! Can't say I would have ever had those if I stay cooped up back home.
I learned another valuable lesson, too!" - And what's that?
- "You've got to live your life. I mean, not just literally live it. Really experience it! Do things that make you uncomfortable. Things that make the hair on your arms stand straight up.
Feel the thrill as a wamasu chases you through the swamp!" - You seem happy about this.
- "Truth be told, I was afraid of the world. I didn't want to leave Bravil, my home. But then I'd read tales of adventure and heroes, like yourself.
They'd slay beasts. Save towns. Fall in love! I never thought I'd have something like that." - So you got yourself killed?
- "I experienced more in these past weeks then I have in my entire life! It was never really about being saved by you—it was about giving myself the courage to go out and do things myself.
I'm not sure I ever really wanted you to save me." - Then why did you ask?
- "To find my courage. I knew if I thought you'd come along, I'd be brave enough to venture out. Even if I lied to myself. And I did it! I found my adventure.
So thank you. Thank you for finally letting me live the life I always dreamt about!"
With this, the Adoring Admirer will disappear.
