Reesa is an Argonian mage under the command of Sergeant Rhorlak. She will ask for your help in giving peace to the restless warrior spirits, instead of enslaving them like Furon Rii plans to. After dealing with the spirits, she will further request you to gather a kwama cap and give it to her acolytes, Gam-Kur and Utadeek. They will use them to sacrifice themselves so the land will regrow, and after you talk to Reesa again, she will sacrifice herself as well.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
Prior to starting the quest, she'll only say:
- "Ah! You see these miserable spirits? They need not suffer this way."
Through the AftermathEdit
After you finish with Furon's experiment, Reesa will call to you:
- Reesa: "A word with you. Over here. Away from the brothers."
Speak with her.
- "Please, talk with me. What the Rii brothers plan is wrong."
- What do you want to talk about, Reesa?
- "Enslaving the dead is evil. Furon does not understand this. As for Giron, I think he does not care.
There is a better way." - You have a different plan, then?
- "Just so. Take this talisman. Use it and learn how to free a spirit.
They will cling to this world, so first, you must weaken them. When you have done this, speak to me again." - I'll try your talisman.
Before you free a spirit:
- "Use the talisman. Release a soul from its misery."
After freeing a spirit:
- "I can feel it. The talisman has been used."
- Yes, the spirit seemed grateful to be released.
- "It was. Spirits are not meant to be trapped. Furon wants to enslave them through magic, but that's torture to the dead.
Freeing these spirits is the right path." - I'll consider your words, Reesa.
Speaking to her again before Sergeant Rhorlak:
- "Choose you waters wisely.
We'll all join these men in death one day."
If Furon's plan is chosen, she'll say the following after talking to Giron.
- "You've chosen Furon's plan.
Just remember. Flowers do not bloom in poisoned soil."
If Reesa's plan is chosen:
- "You made the right decision."
- So how do we free these spirits?
- "By freeing their commanders. Where they go, their men will follow. The cracks in the earth have uncovered relics of the past. Search for relics belonging to the Chimer general and his captains. Then we can wrest their attention from the past."
- Who are these officers you're talking about?
- "The dead have spoken to me, like whispers on the wind. Their leader is a powerful mer named Radrathren. He was accompanied by his most loyal soldiers, two women named Andrana and Rysari.
Relics of their service should be perfect for the ritual." - Once I have the relics, then what?
- "I will meet you at a nearby Daedric ruin. It's the perfect space to complete the ritual. Find me there, with the relics, and we will return these dead men to their rest."
- I'll see you there.
Speaking with her again:
- "You've chosen to water the land. This is good.
Find the relics once owned by the spectral commanders. Then meet me at the nearby shrine. Go well along the river."
Meeting her at the ritual site:
- Reesa: "Let's see if we can put these spirits to rest."
Once the relics are collected:
- "You have their charms?
When you are ready, place them on the brazier. Then I will begin the calling."
Once you put the relics in the brazier, she will start the ritual which will call forth General Radrathren to attack you:
- Reesa: "Lead your men to the lands beyond! Begone!"
- General Radrathren: "Fool! You don't have the power to compel me."
Once Radrathren's spirit is defeated:
- "Pure rains make sweet rivers.
Your wisdom is your strength." - Is it done?
- "Their leaders have moved beyond. May they find peace.
For now, the rest remain like moths. They're no threat to the living, but they'll soon follow."
Giving for the Greater GoodEdit
If you haven't started the quest yet, she will say:
- "We must restore the balance."
Otherwise continuing from her conversation on the next step of bringing peace to the battlefield:
- "You sacrificed power to give the dead peace. This was not an easy choice.
Your kindness means there's hope. I think it's up to me and my assistants to give back." - What do you mean?
- "We want to bestow a unique gift to this battlefield, a sacrifice to allow plants and trees to grow again.
Even a dry swamp regrows after many rains." - And how will you do this?
- "I will explain in time. For now, go to the kwama chamber east of here and find the mushroom called kwama cap.
I must speak with my students. I will meet you there." - I'll see that it's done.
Speaking to her again before finding the Kwama Cap:
- "Bring the Kwama Cap. I need it for what we must do
Trees will grow where we rest, and balance will be restored."
Once the Kwama Cap is collected, she will wait for you outside the Strifeswarm Kwama Mine:
- "You have the kwama cap?"
- Yes, here it is.
- "I will not touch it … yet. Please take a piece to each of my students. They will understand what must be done, and they are ready.
After that, meet me at the southern mustering camp." - What must be done?
- "War has wounded this land. Now it is our time to sacrifice, so the plain can heal.
My students understand this and are willing." - I think I understand.
Speaking to her again before finding her acolytes:
- "My acolytes know what to expect. We've already made preparations.
Speak to them. Give them the crown. See what true balance means."
Once both acolytes have sacrificed themselves, she will be the Pact camp north of Senie where she will make her sacrifice:
- "They are brave, my acolytes. Now it comes to me.
Our blood will be the water, our bones the soil." - Here is the cap for you, Reesa.
- "I will make this gift, this sacrifice. Trees, plants—one day it will all bloom again. Blood is water, water is life.
May the Hist embrace you."
She will then immolate in green flames and die.
In With the TideEdit
NotesEdit
- If you sided with the Rii brothers during Through the Aftermath, Reesa will be present during In With the Tide. If you sided with Reesa, she will be dead, and you will report to Walks-in-Ash instead of her during that quest.
