He can be found in various places in the main chamber of the occupied mine, sometimes he will be fishing and at other times you can interrupt his reading.
- Polinus: "Who's there? I was just getting to the good part!"
He will shout one of the following when he detects you:
- Polinus: "Ah, another fool ready to die?"
- Polinus: "For the Veiled Queen!"
