An ogre
A Wrothgar ogre

Ogres are large, dim-witted humanoids found throughout Tamriel, both above ground and below.

Ogres in Wrothgar are sometimes called Snow Ogres and are differentiated from the common ogre by their thick coat of white fur. Some of these ogres can even use powerful frost magic.

Diseased ogres can be found in Orcrest and near Baan Dar's Litter at the Anequina Aqueduct.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit

StandardEdit

Punch
A basic melee attack that deals minor physical damage.
Backhand
A basic melee attack that deals minor physical damage.
Smash
The ogre smashes its target with its fist, dealing moderate physical damage and snaring for one second. This can be blocked to set the ogre off-balance, though it won't negate the snare. (Brown-fur ogres only) (Unarmored ogres only   )
Shockwave
The ogre stomps the ground in front of itself, indicated by a red cone, dealing moderate physical damage and stunning targets for 4 seconds, though Break Free can be used. (Black-fur ogres only) (Armored ogres only   )
Intimidating Roar
The ogre yells, causing nearby targets to cower in fear for a few seconds, though Break Free can be used. Their damage is also increased temporarily afterward. (Black-fur ogres only) (Armored ogres only   )

Wrothgar CasterEdit

Ice Shard
A basic ranged attack dealing minor frost damage.
Ice Pillar
The ogre summons a large ice pillar from the ground beneath the target, forming a circular AoE around it, dealing continuous low frost damage as well as snaring them. After three seconds in the affected area, the target becomes immobilized. Dodge rolling or breaking the pillar removes the effect.
Healing Beam
If the caster ogre is in the presence of another wounded ogre, it can cast a grey healing beam at it, healing them for a considerable amount per second. This ability can be interrupted to set the ogre off-balance. When alone, they rarely use this ability to heal themselves instead, but with lesser potency.
