Morthal

Morthal is a town that serves as the capital of Hjaalmarch Hold in Western Skyrim. Kjenstag ruins lies to the east. An intermediate safebox lies in the stable.

The frozen undead wander the wilderness nearby, around Morthal. Frozen zombies are found in the marsh north of the city, while skeletal remains lie closer to Kjenstag Ruins, to the east.

One of the instruments needed for An Instrumental Triumph—Shriek of Silk—can be found on the top floor of Jarl Reddharn's Hall.

Marcelle Melie the traveling merchant travels the road south of Morthal.
