When you walk past her, she warns you of the danger on the farm.
- "Get out while you still can! It's not safe here!"
She will warn you that the Worm Cult has attacked her farm and it has caused giants to enrage, which separate her family members from each other:
- "Be careful, stranger! The farm isn't safe."
- What happened here?
- "The Worm Cult happened. Killed my father and some of the farm hands before we could stop them. The screams riled up the giants that live nearby. Kyne protect us!"
- They seem to be gone now. Was there anyone else here?
- "Yes, the cultists drove my family away! Gjakil, my husband. My two daughters, Fridda and Gretsine.
I … I'm afraid to go after them. Will you look for them?" - I'll find them for you.
If you started the quest through any of the farmhands:
- "Be careful, stranger! The farm isn't safe."
- I know about the cult. Are you all right?
- "I'm as well as I can be. With my father slain and my family fled.
Please, will you help us?" - Where is your family?
- "My husband, Gjakil, and my two daughters, Fridda and Gretsine, ran into the hills. The cultists were right on their heels."
- I'll find them for you.
You can ask her a few questions about her family and the attack:
- "Be careful. The blood has called in a pride of sabre cats. They're prowling on the ridge north of the farm."
- Is there anything else you can tell me?/Is there anything else you can tell me about the attack?
- "I can try. What do you want to know?"
- Why did the Worm Cult attack?
- "I don't know. I heard … I heard some of them screaming for souls. They did something horrible to my father and some of the farm hands.
That was when Gjakil shouted for everyone to run."
- "I don't know. I heard … I heard some of them screaming for souls. They did something horrible to my father and some of the farm hands.
- Where did the giants come from?
- "They're from a camp up in the hills. We barely ever see them. They mostly keep to themselves, herding their mammoths between here and the rivers to the east."
- Doesn't it make you nervous, living so close to a giant camp?
- "Not really. Like I said, they keep to themselves.
Seeing them angry like that was terrifying. Gjakil says they're territorial. I guess that's what set them off."
- What is this place?
- "It's just a family farm. My father got her started, back before I was born. The locals called it Treva's Farm. We mostly grow enough food to feed ourselves, and sell the extra in the Riften market."
If you've helped Centurion Gjakil at Boulderfall Pass, you can ask Irna about him.
- Gjakil? Is your husband a captain?/Gjakil? Is your husband a captain in the Pact military?
- "Yes, he is! He's just returned from up north. Said there was an attack on the pass at Boulderfall.
Why, do you know him?" - Yes, I was at Boulderfall.
- "Then you know what a good man he is!
Find him for me, my new friend."
After speaking to Gjakil:
- "Please, traveler. Do what you can for my family."
After speaking to Fridda:
- "You're Kyne-sent, traveler. Please."
After finding her family, she can be met along the western riverbank.
- "I just got him back. Don't want to lose him again, dammit!"
As the battle against the chieftain begins, she and her family rush up to see it.
- Irna: "Here he comes! To Sovngarde with him!"
After the quest, she will be back at the farm with her family:
- "Our champion! My father would be so grateful, as I am."
