Skills and AbilitiesEdit
The Vampire in Gloomreach has unique abilities.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee ability that deals low physical damage.
- Red Death
- The vampire channels a spell for a quarter of a second, releasing a spray of blood magic in a thin cone in front of him, dealing magic damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- The enemy casts a spell that fears the player for a short time, temporarily preventing them from moving or performing any actions. This effect passes through block, but players can break free from it. This spell can be avoided using roll dodge or interrupted to knock the enemy off balance.
- Vampiric Feed
- The vampire rears up to feed on your life's energy, immobilizing you and draining your health a little bit with every tick. You can break free or have someone else interrupt the attack. Deals magic damage over time.
Quest-Related EventsEdit
As you approach a concealed chamber within Gloomreach, the vampire will appear in a plume of dark red smoke. He will shout at you as you approach:
- Gray Host Vampire: "You may have found us, but you won't live to tell the tale!"
Once he is dead you are free to enter the chamber.
