Eifa was a Khajiit who lived in Orcest during the height of the Knahaten Flu and was the older sister of High Cantor Viti. Eifa had turned to necromancy in an attempt to resurrect the dead, and from her desperation she fell under the influence of the Bent Dance.
By the time Viti returned, Eifa's corruption was so advanced that the cantor's songs could not cleanse her. She was then forced to kill Eifa before she fully turned into a dro-m'Athra, as a song of banishment would destroy her soul if she fully turned. At the time, Viti felt this was the best option she had, but Eifa's soul still would be unable to reach Azurah's Crossing.
In recent times, High Cantor Viti will ask Zerith-var to demonstrate his abilities and bring forth her sister's spirit in the Town Hall Cellar where she died.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
When you reach Close Rapport with Zerith-var, he will approach you after receiving a letter from High Cantor Viti asking to meet with him, and you near Pa'alat. Due to their past interactions, he is suspicious of the request. After speaking some locals in town, you learn the Torval Curitata Inquisitors seek High Cantor Viti in order to blame the Twilight Cantors for the spread of the Rajaska.
You then speak with High Cantor Viti, who wants to bury the hatchet with Zerith-var and asks him to go to Orcrest to demonstrate his ability to cleanse souls, in return for information about the Rajaska's movements. Cantors Krin'ze and Viti will accompany you and Zerith-var to Orcrest where Cantor Viti will guide you to the remains of her sister Eifa.
Zerith-var will have you assist him by dispelling corrupted soul energy, but before he can complete the ritual, he is ambushed by Grand Inquisitor Arsalan who has been tracking the group to slay the heretic Zerith-var. There is no reasoning with him and you are forced to kill him, afterwards Viti will be worried about Eifa's soul:
- High Cantor Viti: "No! Did the Grand Inquisitor banish Eifa?"
- Zerith-var: "His might was physical, not spiritual. Eifa is near."
- <Zerith-var continues his prayer to Azurah.>
- Zerith-var: "Mother of Twilight, deliver us this soul lost on the way to your Crossing. Let us return her to you with a heart as new as dawn."
- <Eifa's spirit appears floating before the group.>
- High Cantor Viti: "Eifa. This one is so sorry she wasn't there. And for what she did. This one lacked the strength to guide your spirit out of darkness. This one failed you."
- Eifa: "It seems you have the strength now. Forgive yourself, little sister, as I forgive you."
You can then speak with Viti, who tells you about the current known location of the Rajaska chorus. But before you can continue, Eifa speaks up:
- Eifa: "Twilight's blessings, tamiiti. We must speak."
- Zerith-var: "I will sustain the spirit's connection. Tamiit, see what she has to say."
Speaking with Eifa, she tell you about a danger forming on the paths to the Crossing:
- "I searched for so long in the dark and was pulled along a bent and twisting path. Then you and Zerith-var guided me back to the light. Thank you.
But others will face paths worse than mine unless you put an end to Ravith-morna." - Others? And how do you know about Ravith-morna?
- "Spirits who seek Azurah's Crossing. We hear the songs of Ravith's Chorus echo from Nirni. The rising song of those bent to join her dirge. We lose our way. And even in death, the Void calls.
Ravith's songs, they are a summoning." - A summoning? I don't understand.
- "Ravith calls forth a hunter. A moon beast to prey upon spirits on the paths to the Crossing. It will hunt them, pull them screaming into the Void.
No songs can reach them there. If she succeeds, no one thereafter will ever enter Azurah's embrace." - We'll find a way to stop her.
- "The Sands Behind the Stars … I can feel them calling to me now. Azurah opens her arms to me. I have never felt such peace.<br<Viti bid you save my soul, walker. Now I beg that you keep the Crossing open so that hers can reach it one day."
- What do you think, Zerith?
At this, Eifa's spirit will fade away and the group with make plans to head to Predator Mesa to deal with Ravith-morna.
