Oblivion talk:Sigil Stone
Doesn't work when I'm on a horse???Edit
Some days ago I closed an Oblivion gate and received a Shock Damage/Shock Shield sigil stone, I think it was of the "latent" quality type, then mounted my horse and tried to use the sigil stone, trying to enchant my daedric armor, but the game threw out a very weird error message saying something like "the item cannot be removed", WTF??? Is it normal that they cannot be used while riding a horse? 84.172.27.30 08:15, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- I just tested, and it seems that you aren't able to use Sigil Stones at all while on horseback. I got an error message as well, stating "You cannot equip this item." My item was a stolen Begger's Shirt, and I attempted all four situations of enchanting it with a Transcendent Feather 125 Stone for both wearing and not wearing it on and off the horse. Both of the "off-horse" attempts work, but both of the "on-horse" attempts result in "You cannot equip this item." Link5261 (talk) 20:52, 14 September 2012 (GMT)
WCIF?Edit
Where can I find a mod to make you able to use more than one Sigil stone on anything. Is there also a mod to do the same with grand soul gems Xxgreenbunnyxx (talk) 18:21, 19 November 2012 (GMT)
- Instead of finding a mod for that you could just use the console command "player.additem" to get over 10000 sigil stones and soul gems. ElementalDud (talk) 04:28, 17 January 2013 (GMT)

- I think he means enchanting a single item with multiple sigil stones. --87.115.150.99 00:38, 19 January 2013 (GMT)
How to reset when Sigil Stone cannot be activated?Edit
I'm getting that bug where the Sigil Stone doesn't show the activation cursor and I can't interact with it. Reloading the save has done nothing. Reloading from before I entered the zone has done nothing. Rebooting the console and then reloading from before the zone has done nothing. Do I honestly have to go right back to before I entered the Oblivion Gate in order to continue the game?! ~ SotiCoto (talk) 21:58, 7 December 2013 (GMT)
Multiple Sigil Stone CollectionEdit
Save before attempting.
When one clicks on a Sigil Stone to collect it, it animates before being added to the inventory, however, it appears as though the animation is not linked to the collection timer, this enables the player to pick the object up again and again because the game has lagged two conditions. One is a timer and the other is the animation. When the animation plays, it flags the stone to be picked up and the timer starts, however, by clicking on the Sigil Stone at the very last point before it the timer expires placing the Sigil Stone in your inventory, it is possible to reset the animation, this will make the animation play again, however, the when the timer reaches zero for the first click; a Sigil Stone will appear in your inventory, even though the animation is replaying, when that second animation finishes you can repeat the timed click and then, when the second clicks timer reaches zero you will get a second Sigil Stone even though a third animation is playing. It is possible to get three Sigil Stones with DIFFERENT PROPERTIES by doing this, before being kicked out of the Planes of Oblivion.
Trascendent Absorb Magicka stone effectEdit
Someone wrote that it actually restores the target's magicka, but I just tried and it does absorb it, instead. I gave myself the sigil stone, put it on a weapon, summoned a gloom wraith, used "getav magicka" on it to see how much it had: 126; hit him once, my magicka was restored; used "getav magicka" again on the wraith: 78. It works.
The only thing is, if your hit's effect gets reflected with Reflect Spell, you will lose 50 magicka and your enemy will receive it, but that's normal. Maybe who marked it as bugged tested it against a lich and had his hits reflected. A summoned lich was the first enemy that came to my mind to test the effect on, and my second hit got reflected...
By the way I use the UOP, the UODP, the USIP and some mods, but the UPs don't claim to fix this bug and I don't use any mod that touches the sigil stones (I checked with TES4Edit). Cridus (talk) 22:15, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
