The Argonian Shamans are found in two zones of Veyond Cave: Veyond Black Waters and Veyond Sea of Darkness.
All four variants have the same equipment. They will always wear either a Monk Robe or a Grey Robe, and carry an unenchanted leveled dagger. They also have a 10% chance of carrying a leveled random generic staff.
The shamans share the same spell list as Bandit Hedge Wizards, including their special birthsign that gives them +25 Magicka at all times.

- With the Shivering Isles DLC installed, the Zealot Wizard class completely overwrites the Bandit Wizard class, turning all Shamans into a Zealot Wizard by class. This strengthens their melee attacks (as they gain Blade as a major skill) but also removes Illusion as a major skill. Due to the latter change and the NPC skill leveling mechanism, the Shamans will only be able to cast up to Apprentice-level Illusion spells.
- The Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch, version 1.5.9, fixes this bug.
