This is where you blab about whatever happens to concern me. Feel free to ask me questions or tell me to do any cleanups or editing you'd like me to make. Anyway, please put your topics under the Header 2 format (==topic==) at the end of the current text.
AnnouncementsEdit
- I'm just announcing that I've been taking a brief leave from UESP (sorry Hoggwild!) I've been devoting a lot more time to school since exams are coming up next week. I still check my e-mail and userpage here, so if anyone needs me for whatever reason, you can contact me that way. I should be back mid-December, so I shall return to complete the Morrowind Rework Project then. --WerdnanoslenTalk 16:37, 4 December 2006 (EST)

- We'll miss you during your hiatus. I certainly understand -- good luck with exams and we'll see you when you return.--Hoggwild5 17:55, 4 December 2006 (EST)
WelcomeEdit
Hmmm, a Battlefield 2 wiki. Too bad I didn't know about it two weeks ago when my husband was dying over and over again on one of the missions. I'll probably be directing some traffic to your site (although my husband's unlikely to become quite as wiki-obsessed as I have). Welcome (belatedly) to UESP! --Nephele 19:50, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
BirthsignsEdit
I'm trying give Morrowind's birthsign page pictures and a more interesting look, but for some reason, the table won't center itself. If anyone has an idea how to fix the top (off-center) part of the table, please tell me or fix it here and tell me how you did it.
Birthsign | Description | Abilities |
---|---|---|
The Warrior ID: Warwyrd |
|
Ability: Warwyrd- Fortify Attack 10 pts |
The Warrior is the first Guardian Constellation and he protects his charges during their Seasons. The Warrior's own season is Last Seed when his Strength is needed for the harvest. His Charges are the Lady, the Steed, and the Lord. Those born under the sign of the Warrior are skilled with weapons of all kinds, but prone to short tempers. |
It looks good already--Delrok 15:55, 12 August 2006 (EDT)

- Is that what you wanted? I made a few changes, some related to your question, some not (just to demonstrate some easier ways to do things):
- I added "width=100%" to the start of the table to force it to fill the whole width of the page
- I used <center>...</center> around the text and |center in the image tag to get those to center
- If instead you want all the text in the table to be centered you could add (to the first line of the table, i.e. after width=100%): style="text-align:center"
- I added class=wikitable to the table, which is a much easier way to accomplish several things you were doing (i.e., the background color of the titles)

- Go ahead, I won't be on for a few hours, just copy the code, put the information where it belongs, and I'll upload the pictures later. --Werdnanoslen 11:22, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

Morrowind PlacesEdit
I just came across another Morrowind place page that needs to be relocated: Morrowind:Places:AC-Helas. Since I still haven't played Morrowind, and since you were recently trying to clean up these place pages, I thought I'd ask you to figure out where this page belongs and move it. Thanks! --Nephele 14:08, 6 September 2006 (EDT)
- And another: Morrowind:Places:AC-Indalen --Nephele 14:29, 6 September 2006 (EDT)
I just moved the Indalen one, but the Helas tomb already existed, so I just made a redirect. Thanks for the heads-up! --Werdnanoslen 21:25, 6 September 2006 (EDT)
Unlicensed picturesEdit
I noticed you added "save the pictures" to your todo list. While it would be nice to have license info added to all the pictures, there's no need to rush for fear that unlicensed pictures are going to be deleted by an admin. There's no site policy to delete such images; in general the intent of the Deletion Policy is to avoid deletion of anything that is considered of value. --Nephele 22:03, 17 September 2006 (EDT)
- Oh, good, I'll move it back on my priority list, but when the criteria for deletion page said, "Sysops will remove articles marked for deletion roughly a week after the tag is added, assuming no dissent to such arises in the talk page," I thought it meant all that had the tag was going to meet this fate.--Werdnanoslen 22:10, 17 September 2006 (EDT)
-
- Pages that have a deletion tag, in particular a {{proposeddeletion}} tag are liable to be deleted after one week, but there aren't any images that have been proposed for deletion. If there are ever any pages that have been proposed for deletion and you feel that they shouldn't be, all you need to do is post a comment on that page's talk page stating why you don't think it should be deleted: that will ensure that no deletion occurs until a consensus has been reached on the page's status. You can check the list of to-be-deleted pages at Category:To_Be_Deleted. --Nephele 22:42, 17 September 2006 (EDT)
The admins are not going to go through the site deleting images just because they aren't marked under a license. Something like that, of course, would be talked about extensively on the Community Portal before any actions were to take place. --Aristeo 22:49, 17 September 2006 (EDT)
Tamriel: BestiaryEdit
Based on the page history, you are the creator of the Tamriel:Bestiary page. However, it's not clear to me what is supposed to be on that page, and Sooker posted several valid criticisms of the page's contents earlier today. I know you didn't actually create the contents that are being criticized, but it's hard to know how to respond to the comments when I have no idea what really belongs there. So, to make a long story short, I've put the page up for deletion review. But I'd be interested to hear your input on what you see as the purpose of the page, and what it is possible to put there that is not game-specific. (It's probably best to provide any response at UESPWiki:Deletion Review/Tamriel:Bestiary; I just wanted to post this note on your user talk page to be sure you were aware of the deletion review) --Nephele 13:19, 18 September 2006 (EDT)
- Thanks for the heads-up, I posted something up there last night. The Bestiary isn't a totally necessary page right now, especially if noone will take it on as a project, but if enough people feel they can make a table/whatever it becomes, then I say it should stay. --Werdnanoslen 08:04, 19 September 2006 (EDT)
Description PagesEdit
Hey, I've noticed that you're creating several quest pages that just have '/Description' at the end of them, and really no information on them. I was just wondering if these had any purpose at all --Ratwar 22:39, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
Yes, on many of the quest pages, there is a bold-faced text area for the description of the quest. The pages that have these namespaces are for that area. --WerdnanoslenTalk 22:41, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
Thanks for the cleanupEdit
I noticed you've been reformatting some of the Oblivion quest pages I had marked for cleanup. Thanks for jumping in and helping with that....I've not done all of the quests yet, so it's difficult for me to write the detailed walkthroughs on them. I appreciate you help! Also, thanks for leaving the image flag on the pages so I can keep track of the ones that need screen snapshots.--Hoggwild5 01:49, 29 October 2006 (EST)
PatrollersEdit
On the Community Portal I made a proposal to start a new group of editors known as patrollers. It's primarily meant to be a way to make life easier for those editors (like you) who regularly monitor the Recent Changes page. Patrollers will have access to a couple of special features, and will be able to keep track of which edits have or have not been checked by other patrollers. I proposed that you should be one of these new patrollers, but I haven't noticed you state whether you'd like to be one. Before passing this proposal on to Daveh to get implemented, I just wanted to confirm that you would like be a patroller. There aren't any strings attached to the offer; the plan is really to reduce editors' workloads, not add any new expectations or task lists. Let me know what you think... thanks! --Nephele 13:55, 7 January 2007 (EST)
- Thanks for taking the time to help out with patrolling when you get a chance. I wanted to mention, though, that it seems like sometimes you're marking edits as patrolled when it might be more appropriate to leave them unmarked. In particular, with questions on talk pages I find it most useful if they're left unmarked until they're answered; that way, it's easier for people to find them when they have a chance to do some research and answer any recent questions. Especially with the hundreds of edits that seem to be happening every day, it can get pretty hard to go through them all just to find the dozen unanswered questions that have come up ;) Thanks! --Nephele 04:15, 14 March 2007 (EDT)
-
- Oh sorry, I'll leave those unpatrolled if I can't answer them : ). --WerdnanoslenTalk 09:07, 14 March 2007 (EDT)
MiscarcandEdit
I noticed the question you asked in IRC earlier (I was still asleep... 7:30 am for me) about Miscarcand creatures. And I actually don't think any of the Miscarcand inhabitants respawn, either goblins or undead. I'm not 100% certain, because it's not completely clear (to me at least) what determines whether or not a creature will respawn. I think respawning for leveled list creatures is set by the "template" creature for that leveled list... and for all the Miscarcand lists, the template creature is set to be non-respawning. If by any chance you've explored Miscarcand again already and found out differently, let me know -- I've been trying to figure out this respawning thing lately for my ingredient maps. --NepheleTalk 12:50, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks, I've just finished clearing the place out without any respawns. However, the goblins outside do seem to respawn every time I re-enter the cell. --WerdnanoslenTalk 12:53, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
Welcome back!Edit
I haven't known you since I joined the UESPWiki, but since I saw that you just returned to the wiki, I'd like to say a short, but sweet message: Welcome back! :) Helenaannevalentine 06:13, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
