EtiquetteEdit
Please be careful about how you phrase your edit summaries. Calling other users "bureaucratic" could be construed as a personal attack, which is grounds for an indefinite block. Notices are left on your talk page for your benefit, and while you're free to remove them as you wish (unless they're warnings, which must stay on the page), calling them "bureaucratic" is both inaccurate and rude. I would suggest that you read over our etiquette policy to avoid any potential problems in the future. Thanks! ThuumofReason (talk) 12:43, 19 October 2013 (GMT)
- Lololol hey Mr. Reason, why is it that u seem offended, how was it even a personal attack? Anil was giving me advice that i can use editnotices instead of blanking my page and writing a notice on top, so i explained in my summary that i meant to blank it, and said that the default editnotice works fine for me and i dont need a second one which bureaucratic patrolers and sysops use like on other wikis. i wasnt referring to anyone in particular, i was referring to staff members (patrolers, sysops etc) of all wikis in general. isnt that what edit summaries are used for? explaining my edits?
- Considering the fact that you construe it as a personal attack even though i wasnt finger-pointing or personally insulting someone, saying that my comment was inaccurate and rude, and then took it to heart, and still took the effort to do up this message, well, you must be one of those administrative types who takes their job very seriously huh, since you were provoked by my little impassive edit summary. u need to relax. #justsayin —Honeystars ★ (talk) 08:35, 20 October 2013 (GMT)
