User talk:Dienerandamovie
Hi, welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in contributing to the site. With regards to Armand Christophe, however, he is without a doubt a Redguard. His statistics in the construction set unambiguously identify him as a Redguard. Furthermore, his appearance really is that of a Redguard (see, for example, the image Image:OB-quest-May the Best Thief Win.jpg... that guy in the middle holding the torch is Armand). You're sure you're not thinking of some other character? --NepheleTalk 03:53, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
You may also want to read over Getting Started to learn a bit more about editing on UESPWiki. Your user page is at User:Dienerandamovie, which is where I moved the first user page you tried to create. All links that you see on the site with your name automatically link to the page at User:Dienerandamovie, for example, the link at the top of every screen on the site (right next to "my talk"), the link next to every edit you make (i.e., on Recent changes). User pages do not belong in the main namespace, which is where you keep trying to add your user page.--NepheleTalk 03:58, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
I'd just like to say you gave me a real laugh there. You know, before you go harshly accusing one of the most (possibly THE most) knowledgeable editors on the site of "knowing nothing about the game", you might want to get your own facts straight. And yes, I think you should still read that Getting Started link. Sure, anybody can edit any page on a wiki. But there's right ways and wrong ways to do it, and so far all of your edits have been wrong. Please try to learn a little bit about how this site is organized before contributing. --TheRealLurlock Talk 10:45, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

- I don't care if you laughed
- I shouldn't have said she wasn't knowlegdeable that was wrong but you don't need to be talking to me in that tone. --— Unsigned comment by Dienerandamovie (talk • contribs)

- I've done no worse than you. Suggesting that another editor should stop editing the wiki is simply not civil behavior, nor are revert-wars, which you have engaged in. Even if you were right, these would not be acceptible. But you've been warned enough already. I'm just trying to give you information about how to properly contribute to the site, and insulting other editors is not the way to do it. Take some time and see how the site is put together. All contributors are always welcome, but throwing insults at established editors for correcting you is neither productive nor civil. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:55, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
Stop Edit WarringEdit
I am officially requesting that you (either logged in as Dienerandamovie or using your IP address, 71.166.119.245) stop modifying either Oblivion:Armand Christophe or Dagger of Pain. Your repeated attempts to modify these articles are disrupting the community, and you have provided no factual basis for any of your modifications. Five editors have been forced to spend time responding or cleaning up after your edits on Dagger of Pain and four editors have been forced to spend time reversing your edits to Oblivion:Armand Christophe; none of these editors have thought that your edits were justified. If you still want to keep debating either of these points, you can provide input on the articles' talk pages (Oblivion talk:Armand Christophe or User_talk:Dagger of Pain). However, continuing to just revert every other editor's changes to these articles is simply an edit war and completely unconstructive. --NepheleTalk 15:27, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
This IP/account address has been blocked from editing UESPWiki for repeatedly engaging in personal attacks against Nephele, despite warnings that such behavior is unacceptable. If you wish to appeal the block, you may make your request on your talk page, which you can still edit even while being blocked. The block will be removed after a period of two days. It may also be of interest to you that I personally checked the Construction Set and confirmed that Armand Christophe is a Redguard. If you wish to confirm this for yourself, provided that you have the PC version of Oblivion, you can download the Construction Set here.--Ratwar 20:44, 15 April 2007 (EDT) |
This IP address has been blocked from editing UESPWiki for repeatedly vandalizing the site, despite being warned to stop. If you wish to appeal the block, you may make your request on your talk page, which you can still edit even while being blocked. Look, you've been repeatedly attacking legitimate information on the site. I think you're trying to help, but you seriously need to stop changing construction set information unless you check the construction set. --Ratwar 22:33, 17 April 2007 (EDT) |
