It won't let me make a topic for discussion on any board so this where I am posting. I have received a warning, a block, and a permanent block all at once. Had I seen the warning I would of immediately tried to dispute it. Let me just say I find this ruling very uncalled for and unfair. If the game gave me 20,000 septims, THE GAME GAVE ME 20,000 SEPTIMS. It seems the utmost ignorant of a site dedicated to The Elder Scroll series to constantly call not only myself, but the game a liar. Why would I constantly try to inform users that it is indeed possible to get that much gold at that campsite? For my trolling enjoyment?! Give me a break. I sought out more from you guys to have a decent discussion and believe what I am saying, but apparently I thought wrong. Might as well change the site to Unofficial Halo Page while we're at it. Not once have I said something out of proportion such as you'll be able to find a frag grenade in one of the campsites. I am asking for a real discussion and to be unbanned. I expect more from this site and not to be ignored or replied the typical "you've stated false information" statements because that is false. — Unsigned comment by 68.97.4.44 (talk)
- Let me start by making sure everyone knows that actual facts in this case. First, this edit and this edit were "completely out of proportion" and unacceptable by site standards. Second, this edit summary makes it quite clear that you were fully aware of the fact that you had been given a warning and temporarily blocked. This did not happen "all at once", but rather happened over a four month period.
- As for the question of the money at Walker Camp, you have never once tried to provide any evidence to support your claim. Based upon multiple other players' experience and based upon the construction set information, that much money is not available. If you're really so interested in trying to inform other users, why not try to actually provide some real information? What were the circumstances? Where did you find the money? All on one NPC or on multiple NPCs? Was this a single visit to the camp or multiple visits? Have you tried doing this multiple times with different characters? Were you using any third-party mods that alter gameplay? If you can provide any information telling other readers how to duplicate this feat, then it could be relevant information. Otherwise, advertising a non-reproducible and unconfirmed statement amounts to misleading readers by sending them on a wild goose chase for non-existent money.
- If you were really interested in an actual discussion, you have had plenty of opportunities. If you'd like to clear this up and start to actually discuss the facts behind your claims, you can continue to use your talk page to do so. A civil discussion of the details of what you have experienced while playing the game would go a long way towards demonstrating that I misjudged the situation. But so far none of your comments have indicated to me that is the case. --NepheleTalk 02:52, 12 August 2007 (EDT)
