Just because you can't find somebody doesn't mean they're not in the game. People in Oblivion move around, often even visiting other cities. You don't need to state on every NPC's page who isn't where you expect them to be that you couldn't find them. Try waiting around, or coming back the next day. In short, nobody knows why they aren't in the places you expect them to be, so don't expect to get any answers to these questions. --TheRealLurlock Talk 16:37, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
- Except that all the NPCs pointed out so far are ones who AFAIK do not ever exist in the game. See Oblivion Talk:Lurio Maenius. So I'd say this editor has done a pretty thorough job of trying to find the NPCs already, and asking questions about them was pretty appropriate. --NepheleTalk 17:34, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
HmmmEdit
Sorry to bother. I must say I thank you for contributing your edits, but why did you page blank once? Have a Good Weekend. --Playjex 19:02, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
Yeah sorry about that one. Im kind of a noob at computers but i know a bunch about oblivion.
Okay. I was just making sure you weren't vandalising the site. I was confused when you were making good edits, but then page blanking. Good Luck as an editor! --Playjex 19:05, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
Well, thanks for supporting me I'll keep on looking for things to edit. I've been on this website for a while but I didn't know how to edit or talk. Typical.
- You seem to know quite a bit about Oblivion. You should consider creating an account here, because we respect members more here. Good luck! --Mankar Camoran 16:26, 1 October 2007 (EDT)
- Agreed. Edits from unknown users are always viewed with a little more suspicion from patrollers; plus we'd like to know more about you! One more minor point - you should get into the habit of signing your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end. It makes it easier to see who said what during long discussions. Keep up the good work! --

Ok, ok I made an account!
- Okay, but making an account is pretty pointless if you don't log in. I notice you've continued to edit under the 64.131.15.50 IP, which just goes to show another reason why making an account is important - it helps you and others keep track of whose edits are whose. IPs change frequently, so it's hard to keep track of who you are. Also, IP editors are also automatically suspect - given that a great number of them turn out to be spammers or vandals. Having an account name will make people less likely to assume the worst upon seeing your edits. And if you're worried about anonymity, an account name is actually in your favor, since IPs can be tracked by anyone that visits the site. Anybody who sees your edits knows exactly what your IP is. If you use an account name, the only people who can see your IP are Admins, which we generally don't do except for major troublemakers. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. --TheRealLurlock Talk 23:14, 2 October 2007 (EDT)
