DaedricEdit

The Daedric language is the langauge of Oblivion, often used in magic. The various letters of the Daedric alphabet are known as sigils and can be used to create enchantments or cast spells. Daedric lettering is often found on artifacts of great power. The alphabet is also traditionally used by the Dunmer. The language is learned by scholars and adventurers to calm aggressive Daedra.

GoblinEdit

The language of the goblins is seemingly used only by these beast people. Goblin hunters are known to have some knowledge of it. Goblins themselves are capable of speaking Tamrielic.

RieklingEdit

The language of the rieklings is nonsensical and simple. Only the smartest of rieklings can speak basic Tamrielic.

Dragon LanguageEdit

The language of the dragons, also known as Nordic, is an ancient and deeply conceptual tongue. It has many "Words of Power"; when spoken with the fullest understanding of the word, the speaker's essence can be projected into a thu'um, a powerful spell based on the word's meaning. Dragons have an inborn ability to use the language in this way, but for most mortals it takes long years of study to perfect a single thu'um. The language has its own alphabet. The dragons taught the language to the Nords when the Dragon Cult ruled over Skyrim. Common usage eventually died out, kept alive only by the Greybeards. Draconic?

AshlanderEdit

The Ashlanders have their own language similar to Tamrielic, although some Ashlanders have trouble communicating with outsiders.

JelEdit

Jel is the language of the Argonians and the Hist. Other races can never master the language, as many words are unpronounceable for non-Argonians. It is described as the closest speech to thought.

Ta'agraEdit

Ta'agra is the language of the Khajiit. The Khajiit have many meanings behind their words, and Ta'agra fails to express many basic concepts that Khajiit find difficult to understand.[1]
