DownstrikeEdit
Hi! Here's how Urbandictionary defines "downstrike".
Hi! Here's my Facebook page. I don't get on there much any more, because FB is such a browser-version snob that it just doesn't work for me any more.
My Latest Glitch DiscoveryEdit
Here's my latest Morrowind glitch analysis. I composed it on the Discussion page of a tomb which I at first thought was spawning new undead after I'd killed the originals, but eventually realized that it wasn't relevant to that tomb or its page:
- Is it my imagination, or does this tomb spawn more undead after you've killed them all? The two extras I encountered both came from the smallish room near the geographical center of the tomb
- Some other observations:
-
- 1. When I first entered the room, a Skeleton Champion was striding as if he were going somewhere, but wasn't because he was walking against the urn on top of one of altars, so I sneaked in and critted him, and then disposed of his corpse to make sure it wasn't hiding anything on the altar.
-
- 2. After I killed the second extra undead, I noticed that the map had forgotten that I had explored the entire tomb, and only showed the immediate area around my PC.
-
- 3. I believe that both of the extra undead each appeared after I had reloaded the game to re-randomize the contents of a container. I wonder if this is the cause, rather than anything to do with this particular tomb? I hadn't noticed such occurrences before, but then I usually don't dispose of corpses, as they may help me to recognize where I've already been. (I'd almost never been one to get turned around while exploring - until after I was exposed to abnormal levels of microwave radiation on my job from 1989 through 1991.)
- The blacked-out map may have been a coincidence because it hasn't happened again, but after collecting a number of daedric shields and enchanted glass swords, I've confirmed that this is all about the way that I re-randomize containers, and which corpse I disposed of last. Forget those undead; I now have an unending supply of daedra in another room. I'll have to be careful not to squander all my Grand Soul Gems on Golden Saints. I want to save a few for unique creatures.
I'll wait now, to see how many people show up on my Discussion page to tell me that "everyone" already knew this.
-
- It's perfectly normal for random enemies to respawn when you reload the cell. I like to exploit this by going in and out of Daedric shrines, to respawn the Daedra outside. It also works with Guards and Ordinators. One of my favorite farm spots in the early game is the basement door under Tel Branora, where I farm the Bone Lord for soul gems and souls to sell.
