Velyn Alari is a Dark Elf Pilgrim infected with vampirism. While he killed the one who turned him soon after succumbing to the curse, Velyn did not wish to end his own life despite living an existence condemned by his own faith.
Velyn fondly remembers his brother, Adren Alari, and the two used to study together in the Temple Library in Necrom, learning the holy writings well enough to recite many by heart. Therefore Velyn wishes you to deliver a message to his brother - a plea to overlook his condition, to fight evil together, and most of all to meet.
It is not a plea that Adren's sense of duty can allow him to accept, and unless you intervene to negotiate a peace, one of the two brothers will die fighting the other.
