Trelo Resano is a Dark Elf spellsword and Retainer of House Telvanni who lives with his wife, Venira, in Port Telvannis. He has recently bought a slave for their house, but made the mistake of not consulting his wife first. He has unwittingly become the target for an assassin hired by Venira to punish him for buying an Argonian slave.

He wears a common shirt, pair of pants, pair of shoes, belt, and ring. He wields a steel saber and carries 100 leveled gold.

Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Crushing Burden Touch, Daedric Bite, First Barrier, Great Burden of Sin, Great Resist Common Disease, Great Resist Fire, Great Resist Frost, Great Resist Magicka, Greater Resist Poison, Heavy Burden, Iron Will, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Storm, Strong Levitate, Tinur's Hoptoad, and Weary.

A Disobedient HusbandEdit

  • Greetings:
"%PCRace, I know you have something to do with this! You and that murderous wife of mine have been plotting!"
  • [Profess your innocence.]: "I'm not sure I believe you, %PCName, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. As for Venira, she must die." Goodbye (Trelo and Venira attack each other)
  • [Claim Trelo was never in danger.]: "In no danger? How do you know that?"
  • [Explain that you hired him to lose.]: "He was hired to lose? I don't understand? Why would my wife want you to hire an assassin who is incompetent?"
  • [Explain that the reason the assassin attacked was that Venira wants Trelo to listen.]: "So my wife hired an assassin in order to get my attention? Just so she can have a non-beast slave? She and I have much to discuss. I guess if it matters this much to her I will sell the beast and replace it with the healthy looking Bosmer I saw at the slave market last week."
  • [State that Venira wants him dead, but you don't.]: (See [Profess your innocence.] response above)
  • [State that Venira wants him dead, but you don't.]: (See [Profess your innocence.] response above)
  • [Explain that Venira wants a new slave.]: "I already know she hates the Argonian! What has that to do with anything?"
  • [Explain that the reason the assassin attacked was that Venira wants Trelo to listen.]: "Ahh...now it is clear, Venira had you hire an assassin to kill me after I purchased another beast slave."
  • [Explain that the assassin was only a warning.]: "So my wife hired an assassin in order to get my attention? Just so she can have a non-beast slave? She and I have much to discuss. I guess if it matters this much to her I will sell the beast and replace it with the healthy looking Bosmer I saw at the slave market last week."

  • [State that Venira wants him dead over the Argonian slave.]: (See [Profess your innocence.] response above)

During combat with Venira:

"I'm busy!" Goodbye
"I killed my wife... I know she plotted my death, but I still feel bad about it. I need to be alone right now, %PCName." Goodbye
  • beast slave:
"Beast slaves are as easy to care for as an aphid, and they can do a lot more work, though it is often necessary to punish the beasts to get them to move at a reasonable pace. Even after extensive conditioning our Khajiit needed to be reprimanded from time to time."

Even after extensive conditioning our Khajiit needed to be reprimanded from time to time, hopefully this Argonian will do better."
  • little secret:
"A good slave is hard to come by...I recently purchased this Argonian, and it can barely speak. After our Khajiit died Venira insisted on having a non-beast slave, no matter how often I explained that man and mer slaves are a liability and dangerous, while beast slaves lack the capacity for rational thought necessary to escape."

As you know after our Khajiit died Venira insisted on having a non-beast slave, no matter how often I explained that man and mer slaves are a liability and dangerous, while beast slaves lack the capacity for rational thought necessary to escape."
  • non-beast slave:
"Slaves that are not Argonian or Khajiit are a serious escape risk. They are capable of making rational decisions and will not hesitate to escape if the opportunity arises. Man and mer slaves are also much more difficult to hunt down after they have escaped. I doubt this Argonian would leave even if I removed its bracer, the thought would not even enter its head so long as we fed it."

Man and mer slaves are also much more difficult to hunt down after they have escaped. I am afraid that this Bosmer may end up being more trouble than he is worth."
  • our Khajiit:
"There is no denying that its odor was offensive, and it was certainly lazy, even by Khajiit standards... I still do not wish it had died, as now I have to waste my precious time training its Argonian replacement. We did make a nice sum off the Khajiit's pelt, which partially offset the cost of purchasing the Argonian."
