Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Read M'Sharra's Diary
- Find and read M'Sharra's Confession in Dragonsreach Dungeon
- Travel to Lund's Hut
- Loot the Silver Armor
- Fight the East Empire Warden
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
To start this quest head to the Bannered Mare In Whiterun. Find M'Sharra's Diary on top of the table within the kitchen area. This will begin the adventure after reading it.
Next visit the Dragonsreach Dungeon and look in the corner near the Prisoner's Evidence Chest to find M'Sharra's Confession. This indicates that she left a full set of Silver Armor within a hut near Rorikstead.
This is actually Lund's Hut, the skeever infested hut once owned by Lund who lies deceased inside. Head there and inside find a chest that indeed contains a full set of Silver Armor along with a copy of The Crimson Dirks, v2. Head outside and an Imperial Captain and two East Empire Wardens will begin attacking. Fight them off and enjoy the new set of armor.

10 | People from across Tamriel have migrated to Skyrim in the wake of the Great War. Perhaps if I poke around the tavern in Whiterun, I can learn some of their stories.
Objective 10: Search for a note at the Bannered Mare

20 | I found a note at the Bannered Mare written by a Khajiit named M'Sharra. She claims to have been a warrior in another life, and decided to start a fight with the guards so she could relive some of her past glory. I should visit the dungeon to see what became of her.
Objective 20: Inspect Dragonsreach Dungeon for clues on M'Sharra

30 | I found a note at the Bannered Mare written by a Khajiit named M'Sharra. She claims to have been a warrior in another life, and decided to start a fight with the guards so she could relive some of her past glory. While she was no longer present, I found a note next to the evidence chest that implies she left an armor set in an abandoned hut near Rorikstead.

Notes
- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ccBGSSSE056_Quest stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest usingresetquest ccBGSSSE056_Quest
.
BugsEdit
- The note "M'Sharra's Confession" may not spawn on the ground in the dungeon where it is supposed to, but under the floor.
- It is possible to Clip through the wall with a wooden Plate, Pressed against the wall, and Sprint into it until you are inside the wall, Then you must walk along the Dirt that is loaded within the negative Space, By which you can grab the note before falling and being re-positioned in the Dungeon.
