This page lists template items, items whose sole purpose is to define other items. However, if they are added to the game via console, they function as regular items.
TemplatesEdit
The base items for different kinds of staves, but without any enchantment. With Dragonborn installed most of these staves are actually used, but name and value are changed - see here.

Dummy ItemsEdit
Dummy items are used as placeholders for random items of some type. Each occurrence in the game is associated with a leveled list defining the possible items they get replaced with. The dummy items themselves have no name defined, and are therefore invisible.
