Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Travel to a major city and await a delivery from a courier.
- Read the Warrior's Challenge and go to Hendraheim.
- Accept Eydvina Shield-Hearth's challenge and loot the key from her corpse.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
You must await a courier's delivery when you reach level 10, likely within a hold capital, and read the note given to you. It will direct you to Hendraheim, an ancient Nordic warrior's hall marked on your map, which can be yours if you prove your worth in battle to the current owner. The hall is just north of Bilegulch Mine and southwest of Fort Sungard. The climb is quite steep if approaching directly from the north, so it's advisable to approach from the Sungard side (climb the slope to the east, passing the Bilegulch Dragon Mound as you go, and circle around from the rear of the house to reach the front).
Once you arrive at the property, you will meet a rather unassuming Nord woman called Eydvina Shield-Hearth sweeping the stables. She is responsible for the challenge you have received, and will gear up for battle after a brief conversation. Kill her to claim the key to the property. On her corpse you will also find a note explaining her motivation for seeking a warrior's death in order to enter Sovngarde.
Head inside the house to complete the quest and investigate your new player home.
NotesEdit
- This quest originally started upon installation of the Hendraheim Creation, or upon exiting Helgen after the tutorial. This was changed in an update on November 11, 2021.
