The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is a comprehensive edition of Skyrim that bundles together the Special Edition and a total of 74 Creations which contain over 500+ new individual elements such as quests, items, armor, houses, and more. It was released on November 11, 2021 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Skyrim's release.

Anniversary Edition is available in digital format on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch. It is also available in physical format for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Owners of Anniversary Edition or Special Edition on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 can download a free optimization update with enhanced graphics and faster loading times. Owners of Special Edition on any platform can purchase the Anniversary Upgrade separately, which contains the Creation Club content at reduced cost.

NotesEdit

  • The cover features text written in the Dragon Language. It reads:
    • Naal Tuz Naal Lah Naal Vulom (By sword by magic by darkness)
    • Naal Thuum Zeim Men Eruvos (by shout through many years)
    • Do Hungaar Mu Los (of heroism we are)
    • Gro Wah Keizaal Ulse (bound to Skyrim for eternity)
  • Physical copies of the Anniversary Edition contain a disc with the Special Edition and a redeemable code to download the Anniversary Upgrade.
  • Downloading the Anniversary Upgrade changes the tint of the Imperial Dragon emblem on the main menu from silver to gold.
  • In addition to the new Creations, many already-released Creations received updates to coincide with the Anniversary Edition's release. The focus of most of these updates was to remove the high number of quests that would automatically be added to your journal upon leaving Helgen (or upon installation for existing saves). As a result, much of the new content can be discovered organically through gameplay.
