- Defeat the Cyronin Artellian after placing the challenge banner in Veteran Dread Cellar.
Tormenting the Torturer is awarded for defeating the Cyronin Artellian in the Dread Cellar at Veteran level, after raising the challenge banner, which makes the fight much more difficult:
- The enemies will be generally stronger.
- Added Coruscating Field mechanic: during "lightning" stages of the fight, Cyronin will occasionally mark two players, who will drop Shock AoEs on the ground after a few seconds delay. These AoEs will linger for some time and should be placed away from the group, if possible.[verification needed — any other effects from the mark?]
To place the challenge banner, you will have to defeat Scorion Broodlord in Hardmode.
