If you choose to bring Althen to Hoarfrost Downs, you will find Thoogh by the stockades. You can speak to Thoogh who will tell you about his father before Marisette:
- "My father was working here during Ranser's War. He disappeared and we never heard from him again.
I've been looking forward to meeting this man Althen for a long time."
If you decide to hand Gerard Althen over to the Ring of Daggers, Marisette will give some orders to the nearby Thoogh once you have spoken with her:
- <Marisette will walk over to Althen, who will draw out his dagger in a last ditch attempt to either defend himself or end his life.>
- Marisette: "Heard you'd been trying to make amends, old man. You know what I think?"
- <Althen will fall to the ground.>
- Marisette: "The only redemption for a murderous bastard like you is a slow, painful death, and we're going to give it to you!"
- <She will kick Althen.>
- Marisette: "Get up! You can rot in the stockade for a little while first."
- <She will escort Althen to the stockade where she will tie him up.>
- <She turns to Thoogh gro-Murtag.>
- Marisette: "Lock him up. Make sure to spit in his face every hour, too."
