When you tracking down the beast, you will eventually encounter it trapping Kastav. It will flee once you get closer:
- Khazasha: "There! The Ravener! Hurry!"
- The Ravener: "I cannot find it! My prey has left Nirn."
- Khazasha: "It fled! And…it spoke?"
- Kastav: "Others? How?"
- Khazasha: "I'll ease his pain. See if he knows anything."
When you reach the outside of the Tower of Conviction, you will hear its voice:
- The Ravener: "My prey! I sense it near. Find it."
- Khazasha: "You hear that? The Ravener. From the tower."
As you progress through the tower, it will sense you more:
- The Ravener: "It arrives! I shall know its secrets."
After you read the Vow of Consumption, you'll find out its goal was to consume Atrozu to learn the concept of family. Eventually you will confront it outside the room:
- The Ravener: "My prey arrives! The hunt is complete."
It will summon Risen souls to fight you:
- The Ravener: "I will devour the souls of all your loved ones, Kalmur!"
