The shamans of the Wayward Guardians claim that certain Dwarven constructs contain gemstones imbued with powerful magic. Ardanir wants me to acquire some of these gemstones.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Go to the Library of Arkthzand grounds in Blackreach.
- Fight Dwarven Architons and collect their gemstones.
- Return to Ardanir.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Ardanir in Markarth may offer you this daily. It involves traveling to the Library of Arkthzand in Blackreach: Arkthzand Cavern to recover three gems from the constructs that guard the grounds.
The only constructs to be found there are Dwarven Architons. There are relatively few left intact due to the hostile Void creatures also found surrounding the library. You may have difficulty finding them if many other players are attempting to complete this quest. Kill Architons until you have looted three Arkthzand Gemstones and return to Ardanir for your reward: a Wayward Guardian's Cache.

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
