Trade NegotiationsEdit

You'll find Tevynni at the Hlaalu camp on the side of the road outside the Mabrigash camp. Approaching her:

"We of [sic] never come to this awful place."

If you accepted the quest from any of the apprentices:

"I miss Ebonheart. I wish I was home."
I met an apprentice out on the road who said you needed help.
"Master Raston Vendil is missing. He went into the Mabrigash camp to make a trade deal. It seems he, ah, misread the mood of this tribe. Something went wrong.
I wish we'd never come to the Vale of the Ghost Snake."
The Mabrigash? Ghost Snake?
"Ashlanders, but even more isolated than most. Worship some snake spirit. Raston wants to trade for their unique snakeskin leather.
They won't tell me anything right now. Probably because I'm part of House Hlaalu. Maybe they will talk to you.
Anything else you can tell me about this place?
"I heard that the Farseer calls the shots, but Raston dismissed the notion. He wants an exclusive deal for the beautiful leathers the Mabrigash make and he may have overstepped.
Raston was speaking to Gulakhan Harrinat the last time I saw him."
I can try to find out what happened to Raston.

If you accept the quest from her instead of an apprentice on the road:

"I miss Ebonheart. I wish I was home."
Is something wrong?
"Master Raston went into the Mabrigash camp and never returned. He wanted to open trade negotiations with the tribe, but I think something went wrong. He's been gone so long!
What did he expect in a place called the Vale of the Ghost Snake?"
Who are the Mabrigash and what's a Ghost Snake?
"The Mabrigash are Ashlanders, but more isolated than most. They worship a snake spirit and craft unique snakeskin leather. That's what really interested Raston.
The tribe refuses to speak to anyone from House Hlaalu, but maybe they'll talk to you."
I can try to find Raston.

You can then ask her more questions about what's going on and where you are.

"I think the Farseer runs the tribe, but Raston dismissed that idea. He doesn't believe a woman could have that kind of power. I hope he didn't insult her.
Anyway, Raston went to talk to Gulakhan Harrinat. That was the last time I saw him."
Why do they call this place the Vale of the Ghost Snake? / Dp
"Who knows how these places get their names. Ithrini said that the Ghost Snake they worship is Sithis. Nonsense, if you ask me.
All I know is that big snakes slither near the swamps. They looked very real to me. Not ghostly at all."

Speaking to her again:

"Thank you for agreeing to look for Master Raston. I'm sure he was going to talk to Gulakhan Harrinat. Perhaps he can tell you where Raston's gotten to."
Anything else you can tell me about this place? / Do you know why they call it the Vale of the Ghost Snake? (If you accept the quest from any of the apprentices)

The Trial of the Ghost SnakeEdit

She will be at the Mabrigash camp after you spoke with the Ghost Snake. Speaking to her while deciding Raston's fate:

"I've spoken to some of the Mabrigash Wisewomen. They've been perfectly polite."
What do you suggest I do?
"I've been on the receiving end of Raston's vaunted charms a time or two. I'm not surprised he managed to offend every woman in the Vale.
I wonder if the Farseer would consider another option. I don't wish Raston ill, but I have an idea."
What do you propose?
"They let Raston live, as long as he promises never to speak of the Vale or return here.
Then they sign a trade agreement with me. They deal with me and I keep other Hlaalu traders away. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement."
That's an interesting suggestion.
"Everyone wins.
Raston doesn't end up as snake food, I gain prestige among the Hlaalu, and the Mabrigash can limit the amount of influence the outside world places on the Vale."

If you threw the totem into the fire, you can find her back at the Hlaalu trading post.

"I'm going to stick around and see what I can salvage here. Pity about poor Raston, though."

If you put her in charge of trading with the Mabrigash:

"Business should pick up as soon as the Mabrigash get used to our presence."

If you allowed Raston to trade with the Mabrigash, Tevynni walks away from the camp without a word and disappears.
