When he is first met, he will tell you to speak with the boss for work:
- "If it's work you seek, talk to Numaia. She's in charge."
- "Greetings, walker. Looking for work? There is much to go around."
- "No offense, walker, but Tamanat is checking inventory. Hard to count when people keep tapping you on the shoulder, yes?"
After the ranch has been raided and the animals stolen, Tamanat will be trying to douse some flames:
- "Ziss on those poaching shaveskins! Tamanat will not let this ranch burn!"
After you return to the ranch, Tamanat will thank you:
- "By the Moons, that was a close one. Thank you walker. For everything."
