Suronii is a Dark Elf Soul Shriven who can be found initially in the Village of the Lost. In life, she was the mayor of the Vvardenfell settlement called Silver Run until it was destroyed by a volcano and then dragged into the border realm and enslaved by cruel Overseers. With your arrival, she has come up with a plan to free herself and her fellow survivors.
After you help her, Suronii can be found in the Hollow City.

Soul SurvivorsEdit
When you first enter the portal from Coldharbour, Suronii can be found peeking around a tree. When she notices you she will call out:
- "Stranger, I need your help!".
You can talk with her to see what she wants.
- "You! You're alive! Just what I need!"
- Who are you?
- "I'm Suronii. Mayor of Silver Run, a small township in Vvardenfell.
Molag Bal's servants tried to pull Silver Run into Coldharbour. And now I'm stuck here. Two other towns, founded by Khajiit and Orcs, were taken, as well." - Perhaps I can help.
- "You are … most gracious. I would be grateful.
You could rescue the Orcish and Khajiiti leaders—they're all that's left of their villages. Tell them I have what we need to escape. They'll understand." - I'll find the village leaders and have them meet with you.
- "You'll find Ugorz in the Orc stronghold to the east, and Zirani in the Khajiit village in the west. Both were once-flourishing townships—but no longer. They'll need help to escape.
I'll meet you all at the Overseer's overlook."- What is this place?
- "Not entirely sure myself.
From what I've gleaned from the Daedra, this isn't Coldharbour proper—but we're close enough, as far as I'm concerned."
- "Not entirely sure myself.
- You mentioned you found what you needed to escape. What was it?
- "I—I was simply referring to you! I and the other survivors have been hoping, praying for someone to come along and help us fight off our Daedric tormentors.
And here you are!"
- "I—I was simply referring to you! I and the other survivors have been hoping, praying for someone to come along and help us fight off our Daedric tormentors.
- What is this place?
Once you have convince her fellow leaders, you can find them and Suronii at the Overseer's Lookout which sits above the magma flow of a volcano. You can talk to her to learn the next part of her plan—it turns out to be surprising.
- "We're almost free! Only one task remains.
You must die."- What do you mean?
- "I've secured a spell to get us out of this plane. However, in order to channel it, I require a sacrifice.
And I'd like—I need it to be you."- Are there any other options?
- "Time works differently in Daedric lands—I feel like I've searched for years and found nothing.
You're the only plan I've got."
- [Intimidate] You must not have seen what I did to the Daedra on my way here. Is this your idea of a trap?
- "Be at ease! I'm fully aware of what you can do. That's why I'm not telling. I'm asking.
Let me explain, at least."- Go on.
- "I've secured a spell to get us out of this plane. However, in order to channel it, I require a sacrifice.
And I'd like—I need it to be you."- Are there any other options?
The following response to asking for other options has been removed from the game:

-
-
- "Thank you. There are two ways to do this. The first is to use the lens here. It was designed for a Dremora Lord. It should make quick work of you. If you prefer not to be magically disintegrated, you can leap off this platform to your doom below"
-

-
If you leave the conversation and return to her after learning her plan, she will instead say:
- "Please don't make this more difficult than it has to be. The only way for our spirits to reach Tamriel again is for you to die."
- Are there any other options?
-
- "I … thank you. Your offer means more to me than you can know.
The quickest, most painless way is right in front of you—jump. The mountain will take care of the rest." - Off the cliff then.
- "I … thank you. Your offer means more to me than you can know.
Once you jump off the cliff, you will appear back at the entrance and the spirit of Suronii will be waiting for you.
- "I thank you for your sacrifice, friend.
I am … fading. Tamriel is pulling me back." - Then it worked?
- "It has, friend. It has!
You've given me and the others a chance to bring our story to Tamriel, and perhaps bring closure for our loved ones. You have my eternal gratitude. I only hope the Divines find a way to pay you back for your kindness."
- "It has, friend. It has!
-
- "I had hoped it wouldn't come to this.
I'm afraid you won't have much choice in the matter."
- "I had hoped it wouldn't come to this.
You will then need to kill Suronii, Zirani and Ugorz. Overseer Grexev will appear to commend you afterwards. After completing the quest, he deals with Suronii.
- Overseer Grexev: "And as for you, Suronii: Trying to escape? I'm so dissapointed [sic]. After the lovely home I provided for you."
- Suronii: "Just kill me and be done with it. I will never stop defying you."
- Overseer Grexev: "Tempting. But I think you'll be far more entertaining suffering for millennia."
- Suronii: "Arrrrrg!"
- Overseer Grexev: "What a pleasant sound."
