Detailed WalkthroughEdit
The Coterie's resident paranormal scholar has requested help with a study on the effect of long-term imprisonment on spirits. For research purposes, they need an adventurer to visit the ancient Nord prison Midnight Barrow, which holds the spirits of criminals within umbric urns, and smash them to observe the results.
The urns are located in the easternmost chamber, the north-easternmost chamber (east of the boss), and a large chamber in the west divided into sections. Due to the complex nature of the barrow, there are multiple paths to take through the barrow to reach the urns. When the urns are broken, a reddish-black-hued spirit bursts out, points an accusatory finger, and disappears. Once you've smashed all three urns, return to Tinzen in Solitude to be rewarded.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
