As you arrive at the Mine:

- Sentry Ennoc: "The Overseer … he was forced into the mine during the attack!"
- Meryline Barthel: "They dragged him into the mine? No time to lose, friend!"
He can then be spoken to:
- "We drove the Hadolids back into the mine with everything we had. Swords, fists, rocks. The prisoners even used their pickaxes. But the Hadolids, their claws are just so sharp."
