Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to General Gautier.
- Help Shaza gra-Dasik reclaim the siege camp.
- Talk to General Mandin.
- Report to General Gautier.
- Reach the Camlorn Gate Watch Tower and lock the main gate.
- Return to General Gautier.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
You must speak with General Gautier to begin the quest. Alternatively, you'll find Jasper Litlin southwest of the Lion Guard Siege Camp, who directs you to General Gautier after you show an interest in assisting the Lion Guard in their reconnaissance effort. The general is located southeast of the Lion Guard Siege Camp. Speak with General Gautier to continue.
Gautier will send you to Shaza gra-Dasik inside the camp. Follow her as she runs through the outer part of the camp attacking werewolves. Eventually she'll send you off to talk to General Mandin, who is further inside the camp, behind the West Barricade Gate.
Mandin will be glad to hear the news and will tell you to let Gautier know that she has soldiers ready to fight. The fastest way to get back to him is to go through the Outer Palisade gate behind Mandin and then head to the crossroads.
Gautier will lay out his plan to retake Camlorn, and finally listen to you when you tell him you know how to kill Faolchu.
Gautier wants to take the courtyard, but he needs you to lock the inner gate so the werewolves can't send reinforcements. Go into the basement of the northwest tower. You'll have to kill Moorfang the Ravenous to get to the gate lever.
When you come out, the battle will be over. Report back to Gautier. He'll tell you that the Lion Guard are holding the courtyard but they don't have enough troops to take the rest of the town. They're waiting for reinforcements from Aldcroft.
NotesEdit
- With Skilled Tracker, Silver Bolts are particularly effective on the werewolves encountered during this quest, even in veteran instances.[verification needed — see talk page]
- Shaza will start moving through the camp if another player other than you speaks with her first.
- The werewolves that spawn in pairs to attack Shaza do not give experience or loot when defeated.
BugsEdit
- Shaza gra-Dasik will not be responsive and will remain standing next to her tent, preventing quest progression for both Glenumbra and Cadwell's Almanac. When the 2 werewolves spawn to attack, they must be allowed to get close enough to trigger a reaction from her before being killed. Once her reaction has been triggered and they are defeated, she will move on to the next spot. ?
Quest StagesEdit
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
