Quest-Related EventsEdit
When you speak with her you can ask her about Zenithar.
- "So far, Cropsford hasn't been ravaged by this war. Some say we've been lucky. I say we've been blessed by Zenithar."
- Tell me about Zenithar.
- "The god Zenithar has blessed Cropsford and watches over us, keeping us from harm and ensuring that we prosper. Everything we have, we owe to Him."
- Why does he favor Cropsford?
- "Zenithar is the patron god of hard work. The people of Cropsford personify everything Zenithar holds dear. We work long and hard in our fields, waste nothing, and help our neighbors. All this is glorious in Zenithar's eyes."
- You seem to have a close relationship with Zenithar.
- "Your mockery deserves no response. I merely sense Zenithar's approval of our work in Cropsford. We have much still to do. Goblins, undead, and other troubles surround us, but with Zenithar's guidance we will overcome these challenges."
You also have the option to ask her what help with town currently needs, which is detailed below.
Crown PointEdit
- Anything you need help with?
- "Well, the flame at Crown Point has gone out again. We need someone to re-light it, someone who can survive the trip there. Would you do it?
You can pick up wood at Bosekus's house along the way." - Why's that flame so important?
- "For morale, mostly. The tower was lit when the war started; the townsfolk think our good luck is tied to it. They're pretty superstitious around here.
Will you help us?" - Sure, I'll do it.
If you speak with her again, she will just say:
- "The sooner you can re-light that tower, the better. People here get nervous whenever it goes out."
Once the flame is relit you can return to the Prefect, who will already be aware.
- "As soon as folks saw you light up that beacon, I felt the tension drain from the village."
- I hope it stays lit for you.
- "Not much chance of that. It goes out anytime there's even a stray breeze. But as long as someone's willing to re-light it, we're happy. As I said, we're a superstitious lot."
The Hedoran EstateEdit
- Do you have any work for me?
- "I do, actually. The Hedoran family lives—well, used to live—southeast of Cropsford. But bandits killed the family and are now using the estate as a camp."
- So?
- "The Hedorans collected valuable items. The family no longer has any use for them, and I'd rather us have them than the bandits.
I'd like you to investigate the Hedoran estate and bring back anything valuable you find." - I'll go find them.
If you speak with her again, she will say, "The Hedoran estate was once one of the nicest in the region. Shame it was destroyed. I hope you recover something from the ruins."
Once you have cleared out the bandits from the estate and retrieved some valuables you can return to Prefect Antias.
- "Good to see you again. Did you salvage anything from the Hedoran estate?"
- I found this.
- "That's one less valuable for the bandits to profit from. I'll keep sending adventurers out there until there's nothing left to steal back.
Thank you for your efforts."
Offerings to ZenitharEdit
- How can I help?
- "We regularly offer thanks to Zenithar for our prosperity. Everyone has always contributed. But four villagers are refusing this time.
Would you speak with them and convince them to do their part?" - Who should I talk to?
- "Here's the list. These miscreants must be made to see the error of their ways!
When you have the offerings, please visit the village shrine and leave them there for Zenithar." - I'll go talk to them.
If talked to while the quest is in progress, she will only say, "Offerings to the gods are best made in a timely manner. Please hurry."
Once you have burnt the offerings, she will immediately detect it:
- "You smell like burnt corn. Is it done?"
- The offerings have been made.
- "I feel Zenithar's blessing on us already. May his blessing be on you as well, friend!"
This conversation will complete the quest.
Seeds of HopeEdit
- Did Zenithar leave anything for me to do?
- "You'd be wiser not to mock the gods. But there is something ….
Goblins sometimes raid our warehouse, stealing food mostly. We normally just let them. A well-fed Goblin is far less dangerous. This time they took seeds, however." - Why does that matter?
- "Next year's crops depend on those seeds. Without them, we'll starve.
The Bloody Hand Goblins lair in Cracked Wood Cave, to the northwest. We can't get in; several townsfolk have died trying. Will you get our seeds back for us?" - I'll try.'
If she is spoken with again before you have retrieved the sack of seeds, she will say, "I hope you recover our seeds before the Goblins eat them. Goblins aren't very bright."
When you have returned from the cave with the seeds:
- "I hope you found the seeds. Without them, a lot of people will be hungry soon."
- I have them.
- "Thank Zenithar! We'll keep an eye on those Bloody Hand Goblins from now on.
I hope we can buy them off with a few bushels of food next time. That usually works."
