Step backwards in time, resetting your Health, Magicka, Stamina, and position to what they were 4 seconds ago. You can cast this ability while you are crowd controlled and it automatically grants you Crowd Control Immunity.
Temporal Guard: Cost: [165 / 160 / 155 / 150] Ultimate.
Step backwards in time, resetting your Health, Magicka, Stamina, and position to what they were 4 seconds ago. While slotted you gain Minor Protection, reducing your damage taken by 5%.

Undo allows you to reverse time - restoring your Health, Magicka, Stamina, and position to their values 4 seconds prior to casting. (Ultimate is not reset for obvious reasons.) This can effectively double your available resources for a short time if cast strategically. The Precognition morph allows it to be used even if you are stunned or otherwise disabled, and grants you immunity to such effects for a short time afterward. It can also save you if, for example, you are knocked off the platform during a boss fight in the Infinite Archive. Alternatively, Temporal Guard reduces your damage taken just for being slotted.

Soloing DungeonsEdit

One of the more significant gameplay changes caused by this spell is that it can be used to escape from some multiplayer-mechanic crowd-control effects in Dungeons, allowing them to be solo'd.

Since some of these attacks must be escaped multiple times in a single combat, this sometimes needs to be combined with boosts to Ultimate regen, such as the Blessing of the Potentates set, Decisive weapon trait, or the Heroism buff.

NotesEdit

  • This spell can have a negative effect if, for example, cast immediately after healing, or if your previous position is now more dangerous than your current one. Situational awareness is important in order to get the most benefit and avoid such pitfalls.

  • You can no longer cast this ability and its morphs while you are carrying a Chaosball or Relic in Battlegrounds, or an Elder Scroll in Cyrodiil.
  • Fixed an issue where this ability could fail to properly animate your character as you rewound through time.
  • Fixed an issue where this ability could fail to rewind time.
    • Note: This fix may cause strange animation issues when using this Ultimate while standing completely still for 4 or more seconds, where your character does not get rewound in position. This particular issue will be fixed in a future patch as fixing the functionality was prioritized.
  • Fixed an issue where the animation for this ability and morphs would appear and end abruptly, making your character appear to do jazz hands erratically, if not moved with the rewind.
  • Fixed an issue where you could take fall damage when activating this Ultimate or its morphs while falling from high places.
