Urgarlag Chief-bane of the Undaunted has challenged me to rid Earthen Root Enclave of the Firesong invaders.
Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Enter Earthen Root Enclave.
- Optional: Enter Dungeon in Veteran Mode.
- Kill the Corruption of Stone.
- Kill the Corruption of Root.
- Kill Archdruid Devyric.
You can only complete the Death Challenge in Veteran Mode.

- Return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any Undaunted Enclave.

Speak to Urgarlag Chief-bane to get the details of this quest.
- "The Earthen Root Enclave. Some simpering Stonelore druids said that another druid circle invaded. This wouldn't always catch our attention, but there's few who have fought druids. It could be a compelling challenge."
- And if I can handle more than that?
- "The leader of the invading druids is called Devyric. Rumors say he's a real bear of a leader with the strength and ego to match. Plant our banner before you take him out. That'll put him in his place."
- I pledge to rid the Earthen Root Enclave of invaders and return Undaunted.
Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter the Earthen Root Enclave dungeon either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to High Isle and entering the dungeon there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can achieve the optional step and your rewards.
When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, the Corruption of Stone, the Corruption of Root and Archdruid Devyric. With the last boss, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of placing the challenge banner to put the boss in hard mode, provided you have placed the challenge banner on every prior boss that has it available.
Once you have completed the task, you can return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with her to complete the quest:
- I stopped the Firesong druid incursion.
- "Something tells me that the Firesong Circle won't give up after one loss.
Now, if anyone attacked my home, I'd run them through where they stood. But I'm not a rock-loving druid. Bet the Firesong weren't expecting anyone to fight back, eh." - I'll take my reward now. / What's my reward for clearing the Firesong druids out of the Earthen Root Enclave?
