Moramat is an Orc member of the Barkbite Clan who can be found in their stronghold in Reman's Bluff. She is one of Chief Dushkul's wives, and can be found inside their longhouse.

A Lucrative SchemeEdit
If you found a Bandit Thug's Journal at Tarlain Bandit Camp, you can show it to Moramat:
- "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. Is there something you need?"
- I found this journal in a bandit camp. It mentions you by name.
- "What? Me? Let me see that.
Malacath's Orichalcum Spear! The fire was no accident?" - Nobody suspected the fire was deliberate?
- "Both were known to drink heavily. We thought they had been careless with a lantern.
The chief's wives had a reputation for scheming. I tried not to believe it, but to see it on the page …." - Are you going to tell the chief?
- "The loss of my husband's other wives is a recent tragedy. It does our village no good to drag their names through the mud.
Please, tell no one what you found. I'll inform my husband eventually, when he's ready."
If you exit out of the conversation before turning in the quest, she will alternatively say:
- "No matter their schemes, the chief's other wives didn't deserve their fate."
- What will you do? (Leads to quest completion dialogue)
Enemies at the GateEdit
Before you start the quest, she will have no time for you:
- "My husband is cursed. I have no time to speak with outsiders."
Before you speak to Shaman Bogham:
- "Please see Shaman Bogham, if you have questions. I don't know you, outsider."
Before you speak to Namoroth and drive away the bandits:
- "Our stronghold is under attack! The bandits can't enter the longhouse. It would be a massacre."
The Enemy WithinEdit
Shaman Bogham will ask you to speak to Moramat to get approval to find the poisoner:
- "You've proven yourself bloodkith to our stronghold. If any here would call you outsider, you are welcome to answer with the back of your hand.
Now. What is it you need?" - Shaman Bogham said I should speak with you about the poisoner.
- "Yes, he convinced me there was never a curse.
Know that while Chief Dushkul remains ill, I speak on his behalf. I'm his hearth-wife, and I say the poisoner must be brought to justice." - Who could it be?
- "The sickness happened before the first bandit attack. None are missing from the stronghold. The poisoner must be among us.
It can't be any of the victims. There are … unpleasant symptoms. Very unpleasant." - What do you propose?
- "Speak with the unafflicted. Find out where they were the night before the sickness began. Return to me with their tales, and we can find the lies within them."
Speak to her again:
- "If anyone gives you trouble, tell them they'll answer to me."
Return after your questioning:
- "What have you learned? Whose tales are false?"
- Namoroth and Sharnag said they were training by the gates.
- "I remember that. They were sparring for hours. And the others?"
- Shaman Bogham said he was collecting herbs for his poultices.
- "Yes, he'd complained for weeks about his herbs. I finally told him to stop whining and get what he needed. He returned later with an armload of plants.
Who else?" - Rakhaz checked weapons in the longhouse, while Shakul worked the forge alone.
- "That's strange. I didn't see Rakhaz, and I was here all that day. Shakul's apprentice is rarely away from her side.
Curse that girl, I hope her feelings for Gargak didn't drive her to foolishness." - Gargak? Who is Gargak?
- "My husband's brother, who challenged him for leadership. Rakhaz was upset when Gargak lost, but that was nearly a year ago.
You have my blessing to confront her. We must know if it was her, and if so, her reasons." - I'll find out why Rakhaz lied.
- "If anyone gives you trouble, tell them they'll answer to me."
After speaking to Rakhaz:
- "Where is Rakhaz? Was it her?"
- Rakhaz fled. She was working for Gargak.
- "What has the fool girl done?
Never mind that. Shaman Bogham has almost finished his antidote. Once Reman's Bluff recovers, our warriors will find these bandits and crack open their skulls."
A Chief ConcernEdit
If you don't continue the conversation and approach her again, she will say:
- "We must stop Gargak at any cost."
Speaking to her at this point, she will say:
- "Gargak spits on his own honor. Poisoning the stronghold? He is no better than the bandits."
- What do you suggest?
She will ask of you to track down Gargak:
- "I must remain here and see my husband recovers. If you are willing, you should track down Gargak and … put an end to his madness."
- Where could Gargak be?
- "Sharnag said most attacks come from the north. There are some caves, an old mine, and a ruined Imperial tower in that direction. If you find Gargak, do what you must to stop him.
You do so with my husband's authority. With my authority." - I'll stop Gargak.
If you speak to her again, she'll say:
- "Have you found Gargak? If he's working with the bandits, he may be to the north of here."
If you choose to kill Gargak:
- "Is it done? Is Gargak dead?"
- Yes, but he claimed to be the rightful ruler of Reman's Bluff.
- "A true leader doesn't poison his own people."
- 'Oh! My husband still recovers from the poison, but he wants to thank you personally. You should speak with him before you leave."
Before speaking to her husband:
- "My husband awaits you.
Have no fear, I spoke on his behalf. He won't blame you for the death of his brother."
When spoken to after the quest (if you ended the conflict amicably), she says:
- "Gargak was a hard-skulled fool, but convincing him to back down? Such wisdom … we could all learn from your example.
Our fires are yours to tend, whether forge or hearth. You are always welcome in Reman's Bluff."
