Mathluz is a Khajiit exile who can be found in the Amenos Jungle alongside Charbel Valtieri and Bumgrakh.

Mathluz will be listening to the various plans his companions talk of:
- Charbel Valtieri: "If you'll just listen. My plan will work, I promise you. I don't belong on this island!"
- Bumgrakh: "A raft though? We'll be dashed against the rocks before we make it a hundred yards! You're with me, right?"
- Mathluz: "Do not pull this one into your argument. He is confused."
- Charbel Valtieri: "My plan is just as plausible as yours! Why won't you just trust me on this?"
- Bumgrakh: "Innocence means nothing. You couldn't make it off this island if you were Mauloch himself!"
When spoken to, Mathluz will say one of the following:
- "They're still arguing? Mathluz has plans that require him to leave Amenos."
- "Mathluz suspects he'll never leave this island. Not with those two preparing the escape plan."
- "Such opinionated companions. Mathluz thinks he has a better chance of getting off this island on his own. They are amusing though, yes?"
