Hedge Wizards are mages that can be found randomly out in the wilderness, usually with a Cryomancer, Pyromancer, Conjurer, or Sorcerer, engaging in a duel as part of the "Magical Impasse" world event. Should you get involved and attack one of them, they will both turn hostile and attack you. Once their duel is complete, the victor will leave through a portal, and you will earn experience from spectating them.

- The Hedge Wizard's Claw Cap collectible is based off of Hedge Wizards, and says that they are "folk mages who cast minor spells for farmers and peasants".
