Quest-Related EventsEdit
If you have not aided Indaenir yet, and you approach Driladan Pass from the west, approaching her:
- "And you actually appear to still have your wits about you."
You'll find Estinan to greet you:
- "Few have emerged from the forest who were not fleeing in terror. I can only imagine how dark it must be.
All the same, this is no safe haven. Driladan Pass is overrun with skeletons led by the undead form of Prince Naemon himself." - Prince Naemon is here?
- "He was. Some of our soldiers said they saw Naemon leading his skeleton army into the pass. But that was some time ago—before our forces were scattered.
Now the undead near the gates of Marbruk itself. The city may soon be overrun." - What can I do to help?
- "Our biggest problem is that some of our forces were cut off, surrounded in the old merchant tunnels. Making matters worse, Mane Akkhuz-ri was with them.
We need someone to fight their way into the tunnels and find a way to get the Mane to safety." - I'll see what I can do.
If you have helped Indaenir in the past, she'll instead say:
- "I recognize you from Indaenir's description. He said you'd be coming this way.
He had hoped to be here to greet you himself, but he seems to have wandered off again. Regardless, we need your help, if you're willing to offer it." - Of course. What do you need me to do?
- "We need you two to rescue Mane Akkhuz-ri. The Mane's party was cut off from the rest of our forces when Prince Naemon and his undead army first attacked.
The last thing we need is the Mane's death on our hands." - Where is the Mane's party pinned down?
- "They're somewhere in the old merchant tunnels.
Be careful though—the tunnels are crawling with undead and the damned Veiled Heritance. You'll need to watch each other's backs. I wouldn't try to fight my way through there alone." - I'm sure Indaenir will show up soon.
Finish speaking and Indaenir will appear:
- Estinan: "There's Indaenir now."
Speak to her again:
- "I can't afford to wait here much longer. I came to help assist those fleeing the darkness in the forest, but very few have come this way.
I hope this does not mean they have all simply perished."
