Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Sir Marley Oris.
- Search the Groundskeeper's Cottage for the Regalia.
- Place each piece of Regalia in its appropriate tomb.
- Speak to King Donel Deleyn to conclude the quest.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
When you come near the Burial Mounds you will be greeted by the spirit of Sir Marley Oris. He tells you that you must collect Regalia from the Groundskeeper's Cottage to the east. Go east to the cottage and enter.
- Find the Black-Iron Sword and Engraved Trophy Tusk located in the Bloodthorn Chest by the dead body on the floor. When you open the chest, a Bloodthorn Ravager will appear and attack you. Defeat it and move on.
- Find the Cracked Golden Crown located in a nightstand in the far right corner of the room behind an upturned bed.
- Find the Green Aegis located in the armoire in a corner parallel to the nightstand.
Once you have all four pieces, the quest updates, telling you to return the Regalia to the proper tombs. Exit to Glenumbra and head a short distance north to the Burial Mounds for the four new quest markers on your map indicating tombs.
Go the tomb for the Green Aegis first. Inside, you will encounter a Knight of Emerald Princess as you head down the stairs. When you get to the bottom, you will find a Shield Stand upon which you must place the Green Aegis to update your quest. You will also find Harald Winvale there, who gives you the Forgotten Ancestry quest.
Next, go to the tomb for the Black-Iron Sword. As you head down the stairs, you will encounter a Knight of the Iron Son. Head down to the bottom of the stairs and place the sword on the Black-Iron Anvil. Once you have placed the sword, exit the tomb.
Head for the tomb of the Cracked Gold Crown next, just to the north. On your way down, you will encounter a Knight of the Golden Prince. When you reach the bottom of the stairs, place the Crown and head out.
Your last stop is the tomb for the Engraved Trophy Tusk to the West. You will encounter a Knight of the Ivory Lord on your way down the stairs. At the bottom, open the Ivory Lord's Trophy Trunk to update your quest. You will hear a ghostly whisper and your next task is to locate it.
Exit the tomb to find four ghostly figures standing in wait for you. At the head of the pack is the ghost of King Donel Deleyn, who turns out to have been the whisperer you are looking for. You are thanked for your deeds and advised that the necromancers have plans to enslave the ghosts standing before you. After concluding this quest, speaking to him further starts your next quest for him.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
