Covenant Mage Guards are NPCs who guard Covenant-owned keeps, mainly their transitus shrines, as well as the Wayshrines at the High Rock Gates. They are hostile to any Aldmeri Dominion or Ebonheart Pact players. As of the release of Elsweyr, most Covenant Mage Guards wear armor in the Daggerfall Covenant style. Covenant Mage Guards wearing Daedric style armor can be found in various Covenant-owned keeps, such as Fort Rayles.
Equivalents to the Covenant Mage Guard can be found in the Dominion and Pact.
