Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Rumors bring word that there are Daedra running loose in Blackwood. After making your way to a hilltop northwest of Gideon, you find Plokun injured. He asks you to help return his missing Lesser Daedra that have run free from his traveling menagerie. Collect Plokun's Compass and Plokun's Whistle from his possessions nearby.
Plokun can speak telepathically to you through the compass. Using it reveals the locations of the missing Daedra all across Blackwood. You'll want to bring your fastest mount because several of them are far from any wayshrines! When you find one, use the whistle to open a portal, through which it will be compelled to travel back to Plokun. The creatures and their locations are as follows:
- Barzuso the Daedrat can be found at Old Deathwart's Pond
- G'uub the Voriplasm can be found at the end of the first right turn in Arpenia
- Roki the Guar can be found to the west of the entrance to Doomvault Porcixid
- Taro the Stone Atronach can be found to the west of the bridge leading to Deepscorn Hollow
- Thalani the Skein Scorpion can be found west of the entrance to Rockgrove
Returning to Plokun, he'll ask for your assistance in completing his impromptu teleportation spell. You'll help him redirect stray magicka back to him, which appears around him at a volatile magicka fissure, an unstable portal, and four planar rifts. Speak to him again to complete the quest.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
