Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Whirlwind
- The enemy spins around, doing moderate physical damage to all players as indicated by a red circle. Blocking will reduce the damage taken.
- Assassinate
- The enemy strikes at the player's back for moderate physical damage. This attack can only be performed if the enemy is behind the player, and Assassins will often leap to get behind the player. Ensure your character is facing the enemy at all times to prevent this.

While you're snooping around Daggerfall, an assassin will appear and try to kill you.
- Bloodthorn Assassin: "Fool! Your interference will not be tolerated!"
When you break into a crate looking for an assassin, when you find one, she will tell you that Verrik is already on his way to assassinate King Casimir.
- Bloodthorn Assassin: "You're too late! Verrik's already on his way to the castle! Your king is already dead!"
Later in the castle, Verrik and his assassins attack. One will yell:
- Bloodthorn Assassin: "Death to the King!"
